"Crown Motel is clean and comfortable and you cannot beat the location. It’s right on the water with its own private beach. It’s nothing fancy but it had everything I was looking for in a lakefront property. Ruby was great during the check in process. The bbq/picnic area was a nice surprise and it was awesome that so many people were using it. The patios and deck areas offer places for people to hang out and I love the pool area. "Fit the bill for a night's stay. Not sure I'd want neighbors of long term residents, playing kids and older lady chasing after her cat, fir more nights than one, but they were quiet overnight and left me my space."

"The staff were amazing! We had our dog with us and she’s terrified of the world because of past abuse, so we were already stressed, Paul made our check-in process easy. Kim and Lori (I think that was her name) answered questions were had during our stay and processed our checkout with ease. "I enjoy the reasonable pricing, quietness, great location and friendly customer service. The hotel is a throw-back, it's older, an original. I like that it still has the old Tahoe vibe and is always clean. I stay here frequently and it's always a clean bed to sleep in, and easy walk to the beach, easy parking and my Granddaughter loves Char Pit is next door, great burgers. Our routine is long beach day, burgers at Char Pit and then off to bed. Love it!"
"Enjoyed my weekend trip to Tahoe City. The location was great, after a full day out at the lake. Check in was quick, friendly. Once settled in my room walked the strip that has many options for dinner an shopping. Room was comfortable an at night it was very quiet. Check out was very simple with phenomenal service. I will definitely be coming back."
