"Nice and quiet for the most part, easy access, but the no front desk person was quite jarring, was unsure if I was properly checked in / out, and you definitely get what you pay for, the appliances aren't the most fancy things thats for sure and a couple spots in my room couldve used some touch ups (bathroom door was hitting on door frame, bathroom exhaust fan blades were exposed, etc), its better then run down motel thats for sure but It still kinda looks like one from the outside, definitely...

"The location is amazing and a great view of Lake Temiskaming. I got to swim at the beach in early June and the water was perfect, since it is seperate from Lake Temiskaming, otherwise would have been too cold. It was a highlight to be able to swim at the beach right by the hotel. The staff is really friendly and they make an enjoyable free breakfast for the guests."

"Let me start by saying that Alan, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was very clean. However, the cleaner used on the tile left a very strong smell that irritated my eyes if I stayed in the room too long. I ended up getting a candle to help cut the smell, which did improve things. "I’m from British Columbia, I had booked my stay before I left for my trip. The pictures of the motel were wonderful and the descriptions were very nice, thinking this would be a great place to stay. Upon arrival, the building looked like it was not maintained for years, long grass and weeds have taken over, the parking lot was pot holed and un maintained.
