Opened in October 2011 with Franco Zefferelli's Turandot, the Royal Opera House Muscat is the only venue of it's kind in the region. The foyer is stunning and much of the work has been done by hand. Tours of the front of house areas can be booked through the box office and the programmed season runs from September to end of May every year. See what's on at http://www.rohmuscat.org.om/
The Opera House was opened in 2011. It was the first of its kind in the region.
