A church has stood on the grounds of the Basilica of the Annunciation since the 5th century. Prior to this, common belief is that it was the home of Mary and Joseph.

As one of the liveliest strands around the bustling city, Bat Galim Beach is backed by numerous shops, cafés and restaurants. It stands in a serene neighborhood and invites you to soak up the sun on its sandy strip. Stroll along the scenic promenade that runs along the back of the beach and do some people-watching around the popular bay.
