"What a lovely stay! Comfortable, great location. And Sigridur is a fantastic host. Came to Isafjordur for the Aldrei music festival and to visit our daughter who is studying in this magical place. And we could not have been happier with the Solheimar. The weather was arctic crazy--nonstop snow and wind. But we were still able to walk everywhere and were quite comfortable returning to the warmth of the Solheimar! Highly recommended! We'll be back. "

"Hotel seemed to be newer or newly renovated, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We stayed in a family room which felt like a clean hostel and was very very tight/small.
