Thessaloniki is a city that must be seen. The hotel is very close to the center and deserves 5 stars with its quality service. There is a free shuttle to the center every hour. Breakfast and food services are good.

A wonderful hotel. Clean & well maintained with friendly, professional staff. An excellent buffet breakfast and bar. A 5 minute taxi or Uber ride gets you to the center. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself is really great. Quiet. Lots of places to sit and work if you want to. The spa and pool was very good. Fitness facility was also well equipped but small. Biggest issue is that the location doesn’t have a lot of amenities around it. It is near the cargo port. There is a shuttle to Aristotle square but it is infrequent. One day there was no shuttle service. It’s about a half hour walk to Aristotle square. However, it is also very quiet.

Our stay at this Hotel was brilliant , from the time we checked in to checking out everything was 1st class. The Gym is very well equipped and clean , shoers,lockers towels. There is also a steam room. Indoor heated pool and spa. Breakfast is included with some packages and although more expensive than other hotels was very good.Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful. There is a courtesy bus that runs throughout the day into rhe heart of Thessaloniki , great service. The rooms areclean ,modern,spacious and well appointed. Atm located in foyer. A very pleasant 7 day stay , suitable for business people , couple , tourists. Would highly recommend , one of the nicest Hotels we have stayed at.

Great hotel and facilities. The gym, pool and spa are excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is a slight walk into city centre and sights, but I like walking. Excellent views of the sea and Port area.

The hotel is very stylish. The room was very nice with good beds and a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was very good and there are two good bars, one on the ground floor and one on the roof. Only drawback was a location about 500m away from the centre, but they run (mostly) an hourly shuttle bus.

I’ve been staying at this hotel almost every year since it opened about 12 years ago. The service is excellent—from the staff handling the luggage, reception, housekeeping, and breakfast team to the amazing rooftop staff. Katarina at the rooftop bar is the most professional person I’ve ever met. Her kindness and memory of returning guests truly make you feel special. She is a real asset to the hotel, and I hope to see her again when I return. The breakfast is fantastic—fresh and delicious. Lunch and dinner are of high quality. The spa downstairs is cozy and spotless. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Highly recommended!

The location wasn't near restaurants nor the waterfront area, but if you have a car or are willing to use buses, then it's not a big negative. The facility is modern, with a lovely rooftop pool area, excellent gym and great breakfast. Our room had a minor balcony but big enough to sit outside. The bed was comfortable - not too hard, not too soft. Overall, an above average hotel for a good price.

We only stayed 2 nights unfortunately. We enjoyed every moment we stayed at the hotel. The hotel is very clean, quiet and creates a very respectable and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. Many thanks to all the reception staff who helped with the guidance on Thessaloniki. A special thanks to Mrs. Potini and Mr. Thanos who went out of their way to assist us when we accidentally left our cell phone at the hotel after checkout.

Fiat lux!

Our stay was a short family one with my daughter. The venue was convenient for city dwelling - parking was much appreciated. We made use of the facilities, albeit not all. Staff was very helpful and polite. Sure to return one of these days. Efharistoume poly!

Best view, best space and incredible shuttle!!

I am a huge fan of this hotel. While some quarrel with it being “outside of the city”, it is a three min drive and the rooftop is dynamite. They also have a daily shuttle on the hour! Not sure if they are promoting that enough but it is a huge difference! Big fan of the food on the rooftop and so few hotels have a pool in Thess that you can swim in! This one you can! Loved having a little more space than downtown hotels and being able to work downstairs whenever with an early morning coffee.

Mixed review of The Met

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very nice. We booked an "Exective" room and it was very lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent. Even though the hotel is off the beaten path, we used the shuttle to get into the city which was great! However... when we returned to our room after our evening in the city there was no water at all and when the water finally did come back on there was no hot water. Granted, this may not have been the fault of the hotel and the woman at the front desk was very kind BUT...the bottom line is a hot shower is an expected service and if it isn't provided (for whatever reason) the guests should be compensated. We were not offered any type of refund or compensation and I sent an email to the hotel which received no response. I am interested to see if this review is responded to. I really don't know how to review Hotels.com. If this review receives any type of follow-up I will be happy. If it doesn't, then not so much.
