Excellent stay!! Room was clean, staff were friendly, and breakfast was delicious. The only thing I would recommend is to have a good iron. The one they had burned our clothes.

Honestly the hotel was good and location even better. My problems started in the morning when the electricity went out. There was no back up and the breakfast was very limited and the coffee machines weren't working. The water heaters weren't working so we could only take a cold shower. The staff did what they could and we're friendly but I sent a message to the hotel to ask if they would be offering some kind of compensation because the amenities we thought we were paying a little extra for we're not available. Modern Luxury Hotel is conveniently located close to the board walk overlooking the sea. I enjoyed walking to the Aristotle Square and from there towards the White Castle and the Archeological Museum. As for the hotel, the room was quaint. I was by myself so I didn't need much. I appreciated the breakfast buffet with various choices including Greek pastries. It starts the day off right. I appreciated a drink at the bar in which the young woman who worked there proved to be courteous and welcoming. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful when I asked for a taxi and I needed to get back to a parking lot at the airport to meet friends rather than the usual departure area and I asked her to let the taxi driver know that since I don't speak Greek, and she took care of it. That was in a nutshell my experience over two days, the people who worked there proved to be polite, welcoming and efficient and run what I would call a "tight ship."
