Nice: close to beach, size of the room, breakfast fits my expectations Bad: Tube in shower is loose, no drying possibility, doors are kinda warped, not enough parking slots -> need to park somewhere else and had to carry my baggage over streets, atm construction site close to hotel

The interior of the hotel is very smart and my room was nice if a little small and cramped. But there was no tea/coffee facilities and in a room at this price that is poor BUT there is building work next door and the builders start very early! 07.15hrs and the drilling, hammering and lift motor started, followed by the shouting from those working on the ground up to those working outside my window. I had no warning about the building work when I booked.

Good location, good food, good service.

Was clean and nice. The automated front door broke so they needed to fix it and they did over the course of a day. Shows they stay on top of their maintenance. Room was good. Didn't empty the bin for the 4 nights we were there. The minibar (fridge) was empty (good) but was very small, could certainly have been bigger. The shower pressure was weak, even on the 1st floor, but was hot and consistent. The balcony was flooded the entire stay. The sofa bed was not comfortable, a mattress topper would have gone a long way. Key cards (both) randomly stopped working mid stay, but we're quickly fixed. Staff were competent and friendly. Breakfast was good, not great for anyone with dietary requirements. No real guides of what to do in the city could be a nice improvement or a concierge service. Location was excellent, short walk to the beach (no view of beach though). Play area downstairs for children was OK. Generally a pleseant stay, would return.

The property is located near the beach. The Scheveningen pier (with a Ferris wheel) and various shops and restaurants are close by. Tram number 1 stops right in front of the hotel, number 9 - perhaps 200 meters away. The hotel sells day tickets. The buffet breakfast is decent, even if perhaps a tad expensive (18 Euro per adult, half that for kids).

We only ate breakfast, choice of one thing in your yoghurt. One big jar off Nutella, Jam or Peanut butter to put it in a little paper cup. Makes a mess with a lot of people touching it. Rooms not decorated, only for sleeping purpose, same as the shower. Distance from beach / boulevard is okay. Staff did their job, but won’t give away a smile. To expansive for what you get. I would rate it a € 100,- a day instead of € 230,-

Overpriced

Shop around before selecting this hotel. With the price we paid, we expected a number of services, all of it being absent or poor Parking at the hotel is very limited and nothing was available when we came. Wifi barely worked at 4th floor, and staff was not so helpful with this problem. Nothing in the room to prepare a simple coffee or tea. Breakfast was average and the room was very small so you had to sit quite far away from the food sometimes...

Ficamos hospedados no quarto família que tem um tamanho excelente e foi o melhor quarto de todos os da rede IBIS que já conheço. O pessoal da recepção é excepcional. É preciso uma manutenção, pois o ralo da pia do banheiro estava entupido. Infelizmente, na área de banho aquela "para-ducha" deixa sempre a desejar, pois molha outras áreas do banheiro.

Centraal gelegen! Slechts enkele minuutjes lopen naar de boulevard en het circustheater ligt om de hoek. Voor de deur is een tramhalte. Het hotel is oke. Niks spannends.

Okay für einen Kurztrip

Für 2 Nächte Okay. Wir hatten für ein Wochenende 2 Familienzimmer im Ibis Styles gebucht. Sauberkeit in den Zimmern okay, Balkon mit etwas Meerblick zur Straße war sehr schmutzig. Kein Schrank im Zimmer nur eine kleine Möglichkeit Kleidung aufzuhängen. Frühstück war in Ordnung alles zeitweise sehr voll. Parkmöglichkeit am Hotel vorhanden gegen Gebühr von 35 Euro/Nacht. In Scheveningen zahlt man definitiv den Namen. Zimmerreinigung erfolgt erst ab dem 3. Tag. Schön wäre es, wenn zumindest die Mülleimer im Zimmer täglich geleert würden, insbesondere bei hoher Außentemperatur. Klimaanlage im zweiten Zimmer kühlte kaum.

Nie mehr Ibis in den Niederlanden

Das Hotel hat damit geworben das deutsch gesprochen wird und es war nicht so. Nach dem Frühstück musste man das Essgeschirr selbst wegräumen wie im schnell Restaurant. Es wurde damit geworben das es von 4:00 bis 12:00 Frühstück gibt und es war wieder nicht so. Frühstück und parken sehr teuer. Das Personal hätte auch freundlicher sein können. Klimaanlage war nur Zierde, hat das Zimmer aufgeheizt statt zu kühlen.

De kamer was schoon en prima, maar wel klein. Het hotel ligt mooi centraal, maar het is aan een drukke straat en de ramen houden het geluid niet tegen. Onze kamer zat aan het trappenhuis en als er een deur dicht viel, maakte dat veel lawaai. Dus neem oordopjes mee.
