"The staff were friendly, breakfast was average but sufficient, room was large, and the location is very convenient. There are complementary mosquito repellent / bicycles at the front desk which makes the hotel feel very warm and welcoming. The only issue was the drainage venting into the washroom. I would rebook when I am in Chiang Mai next. "

"Aksara Heritage is a phenomenal boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel extremely safe and comfortable. Within an hour of arriving they had a massage and mani pedi booked for us and a tour arranged for next day. The grounds are well kept and the surrounding area is very walkable with tons of food and shopping options. Dao and Ming were both instrumental to our stay in Chiang Mai! Would definitely recommend. "The Thapae Loft is conveniently located at short walking distance from the eponymous Thapae Gate of Chiang Mai. That makes it a perfect hub for sightseeing within the city centre, with its many trendy cafés and excellent Thai massage parlors. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, and the room was comfortable and affordable. Absolutely recommended."

"I had a standard private room, which is in a separate building from the rest of the hostel. Spacious, comfortable room with good amenities. It was awkward at first, because access to the rooms is through the Meetman Restaurant, but the staff made me feel welcome. Great location near the Thapae Gate.
