"Our flight was diverted to another airport, so we were 6 hours later than expected, but able to communicate and get a quick response throughout. It's quite a small place, but there are only two of us, and we had everything we needed. The road in could be quite bumpy or extremely bumpy depending on which way, but we were able to do it in our economy car. "We had an incredible time here. The views from the poolside are fantastic. Rafaelo and Marina are such a lovely couple and made us feel very welcome! There is a winery next door with free wine tasting - we just turned up and they took us in for a lovely tasting and short tour! Castiglion Fiorentino is a short 15 minute drive where there are supermarkets, bakeries and a delicious pizzeria called Fratelli D'impasto! The drive up to the villa is a steep one, so be prepared for that, but the pay off...

From this Villa we were easily able to do day trips to Arezzo, Florence and Rome, but also spend days at the Villa enjoying the pool and the property or several villages nearby.
