"This is a unique historic enchanting hotel in the beautiful town of Evora, Portugal. Our room was spacious, comfortable, well appointed, with an interesting historical charm. The staff was generous with their time to help us in every possible way. It is just a minutes by walking away from many sites that you will wish to enjoy."

"Beautiful boutique hotel created in an early 19th century mansion, right in the middle of the old walled city. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Very conveniently located 3 minutes from the Bones Chapel and restaurants. No parking on site but free street parking from 2 PM to 9 AM just in front of the hotel or in a lot a short walk away (free all day). Vehicles and people…it hadn’t seemed like a busy street when we arrived but it turned out to be busy late in the evening and then again in the morning. "Beautiful hotel. Welcoming staff and very helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast great with fresh yogurt, fruit, eggs, pastries and breads, and cheeses and ham. The staff parked our car which was great because we were not used to the narrow streets. I would recommend a stay here!"

"This place needs more attention to the interiors. Stained sofa and lots of scraped walls. Main concern for cleanliness was the beds: The bottom sheet was clean, but the duvet covers had obviously not been changed between guests and were soiled (including small blood spots). Looked like they were thrown on the floor (dirt/dust) and then put back on. We found some of the clean linens in the closet, so we ended up changing them ourselves before sleeping in the beds.
