Small cozy colonial style hotel which evidently was a house, surrounded with tranquil gardens and several terrraces to spend some quiet time. Pool too... Age showing on some furniture... Excellent service. Far from downtown if walking.

As all opinion this is my personal preference. Room is bad! No air conditioning, ants everywhere, tv is a joke (ridiculously small), ambient noise is too loud you can hear the conversations of staff in the kitchen down stairs imagine hearing what’s happening in the neighboring room. Worst for me, No darkness at night, bright light always on outside and curtains let all light come thru. Toilet has no door for it self, so if you close the bathroom you block entry to washing hands, luggage, shower etc, and the bed OMG so noisy! and if you don’t think this is bad enough the Interntet is almost not existent in the room. Totally not worth the price, the location is far away from downtown, like 3.4 kms away. Would not stay here again.

Total SCAM. We did not get the suite we booked and paid for and confirmed on our itinerary. The staff were disgustingly rude and aggressive when we asked for the suite we booked. Worst of all, they insisted they had not been paid by Expedia even though I showed them proof. They argued aggressively that I pay again. Hotel old and looked like it was struggling. A total scam. I wish I could give it zero stars.

The grounds are gorgeous, and this would be a fantastic place to hold an event or travel with a group. The food was excellent, but the service quite slow, but very professional. WiFi speed was decent, but coverage was quite poor; the rooms don't get much signal. Cell service was also poor, so guests would hang out near the central building, where the WiFi reached. It is about 3Km (2 miles) from downtown Tepoztlán, which can take 20 minutes driving via the back roads. This also means the property is far enough away to be quiet and tranquil. In mid-December, the weather was cool but pleasant (light hoodie), with no scorpions. The rooms were cool to cold. Suite #1 has a sliding door made of metal and glass, very sturdy, and quite heavy. Water pressure was strong, and the shower got as hot as I could possibly want it. We got swedish massages, and they were quite good. The property is served by a water well, so we were "not told the tap water was safe"... so we got our water bottles filled at the kitchen. Every day. We saw several couples with their dogs.

Es un sitio más bello que lo que las fotos muestran. La meor habitación es la que tiene la terraza con hamaca, súper recomendada, está frente a la alberca, tiene mucha privacidad y una vista magnífica del tepozteco. Todo está súper limpio, áreas comunes, alberca, hasta los baños comunes se ven super limpios. la casa principal, tiene una sala abierta que los huéspedes podemos disfrutar para relajarnos con vistas panorámicas. La comida es rica, muy mexicana, recetas tradicionales y con gran sabor. La alberca no tiene caldera, así que idealmente se disfruta en temporada de mucho calor. Yo fui en marzo, aún se sentía fría pero disfrutamos todo el día en los camastros, relajados, con bebidas ricas. Las mascotas son bienvenidas, no saben qué bien la pasó mi perrito, parece que él también entró en modo relajación se la pasaba echado en el pasto, dormitando, jugamos en la terraza de la habitación, lo llevabamos a recorrer la propiedad. Nuestra estancia fue excelente. Desde la llegada hasta la salida, disfrutamos mucho nuestro tiempo. Me encantó que está limpio y tiene areas verdes, llevé a mi perrito y disfruto mucho el jardín. El servico del personal, desde mesero, camareras, recepción y estacionamiento es muy bueno, el spa me agradó. La alberca esta templada(linda vista al cerro) y limpia,. El lugar cuenta con restaurant que lo hace más comodo ( el sabor de la comida no es increible, cumple ) La cama de la habitación estaba súper dura.

Pésimo Hotel en Tepoztlán

El hospedaje en el hotel fue muy malo. Desde antes de llegar, el establecimiento presentó problemas con el cobro en la aplicación y me contactaron por WhatsApp (lo que consideré bastante invasivo, porque la app nunca me notificó algo) para asegurarse que iba a pagar y no cancelar mi reservación. Ya en el hotel la atención del hotel fue pésima. El personal no está capacitado y no dan la información necesaria para el uso de las instalaciones. El estacionamiento es muy pequeño e insuficiente. Intenté usar el vapor y no sirvió. El restaurante y los meseros son malos, no toman bien los pedidos, entregan mal los platos y las bebidas. Uno de mis platos tenía un pelo y la única solución que me dieron fue cambiarme el platillo. El “jacuzzi” no está disponible todo el tiempo. Si los quieres ocupar es con un costo extra, al igual que el vapor, y tienes que avisar con una hora de anticipación para usarlo si es que funciona. La comunicación con el persona siempre fue pésima. El check out también fue muy malo, incluso, me intentaron cobrar una cuenta dos veces. Pésima experiencia, para nada recomiendo este hotel, el cual es caro y no ofrece el servicio que esperarías por ese precio.

Que es mentira y engaño lo que presentan en imágenes contra lo que realmente existe en el hotel.
