Really beautifully done hotel in a modernist structure. Excellent breakfast in a nice lobby and comfortable rooms, if a bit small. Fantastic location close to Dizengoff.

Great spot if you love history and culture!

Had a lovely time at the Backstage hotel. Staff were extremely friendly, room was very chic and clean. Breakfast was also really nice. Slight mess up with the taxi but it was all resolved easy by the hotel. Would definitely go back.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the hotel with my own eyes. What is remarkable is how what used to serve as a theatre in the past could be transformed into a living space with such detailed preserved features of the past harmoniously coexisting with modern touches. Room didn't have a wardrobe, and price was high for off-season. Overall I don't think it's good value for money. Room had a nice design, was well kept and cleaned well though. Breakfast is also amazing.

This place was great! The location, staff, and service were all top notch. The breakfast was delicious but a little pricey. We walked everywhere we went - the hotel is also walking distance to the beach. If we ever come back to Tel Aviv, we would stay here again.

Comfortable well-appointed rooms with air conditioning, nice bed, small but modern bathroom. Service was outstanding from the kindly front desk people to the waitress serving brunch (I recommend). The area was just what I wanted--near shopping and restaurants but on a quieter street.

Can’t imagine a better stay anywhere in Tel Aviv!

Backstage was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had…..from the cava and macaroons at check-in to the free cocktail at happy hour to the wonderfully comfortable bed and bedding and the incredibly friendly and capable staff. Such a cool place!
