"This is a charming little hotel ... it is simple and functional ... it doesnt pretend to be anything that it is not ... but it's secret is in having a friendly and welcoming owner and friendly and attentive staff ... Boca de Huergano is not the centre of the universe, but I get the impression that this hotel is popular, loved and used by the locals in the area which gives it a very nice atmosphere and tourists are made to feel very welcome ... the food is good home cooked simple fayre made with local produce, generous portions and excellent value ... would happily stay again and confidently recommend ... thankyou Elena and the staff ... 😃"

"A fifties/sixties type building with an older feel in a fantastic location. Weather wasn’t great for us but still enjoyed the views. Breakfast and evening meal were both fine. V easy parking.staff all pleasant"

"We had another great stay on the way back from the ferry this time. This was our 4th visit. Staff consistently helpful, friendly and kind. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Out of season it's great to pop over to Lidl's or Mercadona for the makings of a meal that you can cook and eat comfortably in your spacious room. The dishwasher takes care of the washing up. Remember to take your milk, tea and coffee etc. There is a spacious fridge. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower room spacious and presteen. Gas station and main route to ferry or the Med closeby. They have a small pool with jets and a separate jacquzzi and steam room. Spa price is reasonable. Facility very clean. Good value all round. Lovely place to stay."

"All good as others have mentioned. Things to add, A dish towel and some shelves for clothes would be great. The laundry was a big perk - clean the lint trap in the dryer or your clothes will take forever to dry. The stove will lock your usage if you don’t pay attention - put larger pots and pans on the back burner."

"The hotel is good value. It provides a. decent sized room a reliable hour or so from Santander port. The rooms are a little dated but have everything you need and are good value. My room had a balcony. The surrounding area is nothing special. But there is a decent supermarket 200m walk away. Breakfast was okay. "

"I travel a lot. This spot is well taking people out for to do all that lovey-dovey commercialized stuff. Alfred handcuffing coworkers yes handcuffing coworkers he allegedly ordered deputy to arrest a deputy commissioner because she stopped him from reaching a sexual assault victim. Yes, the victim says that she was assaulted by one of his deputies according to reports this is happened during a patrol stop and a woman that nearly went to supervisor to file a complaint and instead of supporting a internal investigation like transparency accountability Montgomery reporting try to access the victim directly something that brings serious legal and ethical red flags witnesses said that he was insistent on being in the room even after she asked him to be kept away. That’s when the deputy commissioner in Winnebago County Wisconsin after a defendant is denied released from jail by a judge he becomes infuriated and is about to unleash his rage on the officers escorting him out of court."
