"The location was fantastic and made it easy to walk to so many attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which really added to the experience. The rooftop patio was incredible, with comfortable seating and excellent food and drink options. It was a great space to relax after a busy day exploring the city. The beds were also very comfortable. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and I would happily return."

"I believe it should be easier (as a hotel guest) to reserve spots on the rooftop. One manager suggested we couldn’t reserve certain areas while it remained difficult to actually sit in one of the cabanas. Why is this???"

"The Lamaro is a stunning hotel! It is conveniently located on a lovely square right opposite the Cathedral of Barcelona. The view from the rooftop bar/restaurant is fabulous. The area has lots of cafes and small shops for exploring. The room was beautifully decorated as was the lobby. We ate breakfast twice and dinner once in the main floor restaurant. All meals were great. I would certainly stay there again!"

"The BAD: The room had no US plugs, no mini fridge, no USB. The TV tuned out every 15 minutes and must be rebooted. The commercials run longer than the programs in Barcelona (not the hotels fault). No wash cloths (must be a cultural thing.) The GOOD: Maid service was good, and front desk was helpful. Room was clean. Room was large by Spain standards (we booked a larger room ). Shower was nice and large. Toilet room was separate from Lav & mirror. Room had plenty of lights. Room had a nice view and was in a decent part of town. NOT GOOD or BAD: The floors are polished concrete."

"Overall I had a great experience at this hotel. It was clean and close to downtown and the waterfront. One critique or point of caution for others is that there are multiple locations for this hotel with the same name. The hotel and Expedia should do a better job to point this out and make it clear. There is one near the airport and one downtown. I took a taxi from the airport asking to go to the “Innside Hotel” and the driver took me to the wrong one. He charged me a flat rate of $21 for a short trip probably less than 10 minutes to the one close to the airport. The check in person told me that i was at the wrong location and that the same thing happened to someone else earlier in the day. I had to take another taxi around $25 to the downtown location. If this has happened to multiple people then why don’t you do something about it?"

"Beautiful hotel , centrally located for walking . Close to many shops and places to eat, drink or sightsee. The Hop on Hop Off Bus stops close to the entrance. Breakfast buffet for €16 , nice selection but waitress was not overly friendly but that could have been the language barrier. No pool of hot tub but that’s not as common as it is in other locations. Also , no faceclothes but again more a less common thing there . Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful . Would definitely stay again if we return to this area in future . "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Borneta. I would absolutely stay here again. We really appreciated the friendly staff, lovely amenities, beautiful rooftop, and proximity to Gothic Quarter. Great experience! The bar staff made some local recommendations for us including a nearby cocktail bar called Aldea which wound up being one of our favorite experiences. Don’t miss the morning cappuccinos! "

"The hotel is in a great location in the Gothic quarter and near restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly, the room was lovely and with a nice view down to the alleyway. Breakfast was lovely Highly recommend"
