Stayed for 2 weeks as a couple, very enjoyable everyday. When needed we were always given fresh towels, tissues, and amenities. Water was only cold once the entire trip, so I don’t believe it is a normal problem. Room was clean, and well furnished. Staff was nice and helpful as a foreigner, especially compared to the other hospitality options.

Prepare to walk

The hotel is nice and the breakfast is good, the typical Georgian breakfast. The biggest negative is that it's at the top of a steep hill and there's nothing around it like restaurants, mini market, or anything else. You would do better to stay at a place with some conveniences. Unless you really enjoy walking up and down hills whenever you need something. It was very quiet

Horrible staff and horrible experience

Came with family and rooms were reserved in advance . They claimed Astoria has 3 building b ct to each other so they put us in different hotels . We paid for a beautiful hotel and beautiful hotel rooms and ended up in very old and uncomfortable rooms . There was no irons in the rooms and they didn’t provided us with one . The staff were very rude and unfriendly and they cleaned the rooms only once during out stay and I found a note on the counter from cleaning lady saying to me , keep the room clean . It was the worse hotel I have ever gotten

Shockingly disappointing!

I don't recommend this place at all. We had issues from the start of the stay - the Staff didn't know about our arrival so we had to wait even though our reservation was made a month prior. The door to the room was opening just by itself and the electronic lock was broken, so all the time we had our door open without knowing it!!!! The walls are not soundproof - we heard all conversations from the rooms nextdoor. Windows were leaky - the seal was missing. We expected a lot more for such a price. Never again :(

Een beetje oubollig hotel, vloerbedekking (oogt nooit echt clean), oudere badkamer waar het water uit het putje naar boven kwam. Ligging redelijk, wel hooggelegen. Ontbijt simpel, maar prima, personeel bij de receptie supervriendelijk. Ik zou eigenlijk 3,5* willen geven, maar dat kan niet.

El hotel bien limpio el antepenultimo dia no nos hicieron la habitacion. Estaba situado en una zona alta q era una ciesta terrible subir. Personal mediocre, solo una chica nos atendio bien El resto les preguntabas y su respueta siempre era no lo se ni se molestaban en buscar o facilitarnos informacion. Eso no me gusto

A beautiful, comfortable, quiet hotel

I arrived early due to flight and was given an early check in by a very helpful Night Manager, George. Hotel is very well laid out, quiet and comfortable and is situated high up in the old town. You can get lost on those streets. The hotel is very close to the funicular railway for Mtatsminda Amusement Park
