We loved Old Taos Guesthouse and will definitely return. Breakfast was amazing every day and the property manager was polite and professional. Overall the entire experience was wonderful.
Rooms are excellent- clean, comfortable with a small adobe fireplace/gas lit which is very cozy. Breakfast was delicious. There is a communal refrigerator that we used to keep our wine cold. Short trip to the main area with restaurants, art stores, etc. Eight minute drive to Taos Pueblo and 18 minute drive to Rio Grand Gorge bridge. We would definitely stay here again!
I absolutely loved my stay at Old Taos Guesthouse. It's a charming, historic property with beautiful, serene grounds. It has so much Taos character and is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Though it's very close to town, it's tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area.
The homemade breakfast every morning was delicious and such a lovely personal touch. Special thanks to Ngoc for always being so helpful and hospitable. This is a truly special place, and I can't recommend it enough!
Everything about this place is wonderful. Clean, spacious room, amazing breakfasts, friendly staff, and lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and grounds. So glad we selected it - we’ll be back!
What a beautiful place to stay! Amazing property and delicious breakfast. My mom and I stayed in the Artist's studio and it was even more fantastic than the pictures. Very peaceful and quiet while also being a quick drive to town. If we are back in the Taos area we would absolutely stay here again.
This restored 200 year old farm house is authentic in its architecture and decor.
Our room was clean and cozy.
It included a gas kiva fireplace, very comfy bed, vigas on the ceiling a modern bathroom and two Adirondack chairs on a covered porch facing a courtyard with a fountain and mountain in the backround.
Breakfast wad served in a dining room that included a library.
The prices were reasonable even for a thrifty person like myself.
All on all it was pretty close to perfect!
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Thanks for the memories.

Beautiful property that was very peaceful. Breakfast was fantastic both days. Bathroom in our room was pretty small but manageable. The room was decorated quite nicely.
Beautiful and quiet location when we stayed in mid May. Lots of outdoor space available to enjoy good weather. Tasty breakfast and kind hosts.

Old Taos Guesthouse is nicely located 2 miles drive from Taos Old Town Plaza. (Stop at Taos Cow ice cream shop on the way into town!!) The price was very reasonable & included breakfast, which was delicious. The property is lovely and very quiet. My only complaint is with our particular room (#7). The room was very large with a working fireplace, however there was no shelves/chest of drawers for clothes or even a luggage rack to open your suitcase. The wardrobe had only 4 hangers. I would suggest replacing the fake plant with something to hold your clothes. The bathroom was very tight with no counter & only one hook. The bathroom window did not open. I would definitely stay here again, but not in Room 7.
One of the finest experiences I have ever had. Staff was professional and very cordial. Breakfast was incredible. Definitely be my go to whenever I return to Taos.
More than thrilled with my stay here and I'm already planning a trip back. I loved my room. I loved the breakfast. Julie was so friendly and helpful! I loved staying here. Room 7 facing the garden. Heaven! ♡
The Old Taos Guesthouse is truly a unique B & B. It appears that all of the rooms are different with their own charm and feeling. The property offers numerous vantage points to take in the spectacular sunsets, as well as many peaceful locations to sit, relax and take in the quiet surroundings. We enjoyed sitting in a pair of Adirondack chairs outside of our room, sometimes chatting with fellow guests or reading or simply relaxing. The breakfasts are certainly worthy of some kind of award(s), certainly not your average fare. The chef and the property manager are both top notch - we can't say enough good things about them. On top of all of the accolades, our stay was definitely affordable for the comfort and experience we enjoyed. We are already planning a return trip.
I would return in a heart beat. The breakfast was a new delight each morning. We enjoyed the quiet nature of the inn, so easy to relax and let the world go by. So nice to be in an historic spot and not in a "city slick" hotel.
