The location is excellent. The staff are excellent, very helpful and welcoming. View of Etna sunrise and sunset, with cocktails (Taormina) should not be missed. Hotel has old school charm. Room was comfortable with great views. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice of food.

What used to be a grand hotel in Taormina is now a rather dated and worn out hotel showing its age. It needs a makeover! That said, there are great views of Mt Etna and the sea and the hotel is centrally located near the Greek theater and the public park, many shops and great walking and streets to explore nearby. Breakfast was rather lackluster but good pasties. Nothing spectacular at the hotel. Rather tired and old.

Reception staff were friendly, restaurant staff cold but attentive. Breakfast buffet was very nice. There was construction throughout our stay on the floor below us. Loud hammering and sawing starting at 9:00am which continued until 3:00pm. Hot water was not available in the late evening, which made for an unpleasant shower two nights of our stay.

Great location

Could not wish for a better location - and amazing views of the coastline and mount Etna. The grounds are beauty. Be prepared the hotel is old and not your standard 4 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel very centrally located and very easy to walk to centre of town. Room was perfect and very spacious and comfortable with a small balcony looking out to sea and Etna on the side of the hotel. Fabulous large swimming pool and although a short stroll down several steps it’s a stunning walk and beautiful views from the loungers.Breakfast was amazing and lovely room to eat in with lots of space to get s good table. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend wholeheartedly.
