"We loved our stay at Tamarindo Village Hotel. My family chose one of the rooms with a second bedroom loft. It was located at the top of the hotel on a hill. I felt like I was in the jungle, removed from the tourists of town, yet we were very close (walking distance) to shops/grocery/restaurants and the beach. My favorite was that we had a private small dipping pool on our deck. Monkeys were playing in the trees daily. A large variety of birds were present as well. The entire property was...

"Room was great! Infinity pool and restaurant were even better. Amazing view of the ocean. The shuttle service was amazing. It came every hour (sometimes twice hourly) to drop off up to 10 guest down the hill to the town area and/or beach club. The beach club was awesome! Very cleanly and nice access to the beach."

Breakfast was unreal, many options with the traditional breakfast and coffee was great too! Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheeper stay in Tamarindo with easy access to the beach and downtown. "

"The unit is close to town , left the car in the parking lot nearly the whole stay , Nice walk into town provided views of Gecko’s and Howeler monkeys about 4 min walk , Town has lots of energy , Tons of restaurants, Location had a great pool and private resort like feeling , large fridge and well stocked kitchen , Large bed , Great communication with host . "The staff were great ! The location is conveniently 15-20 mins to Tamarindo, which can save you a lot on the cost of staying in tamarindo. You can also arrange shuttle with them from the airport which is only about an hour away. The host is SUPER responsive through WhatsApp. You can also, pay through their payment system there and they will give you cash which is a great way to avoid looking for an ATM. "

"This is one of those hotels that you almost don't want to talk about for fear of it becoming too popular. The owners are very friendly and it feels like being a guest in a private home with staff to take care of everything for you."
