Quiet luxury hotel

Modern minimalist ryokan style hotel. Staff and service was excellent. Food delicious but amount sometimes overwhelming. Comfort could be hugely improved- no armchairs in the room makes it difficult to relax after a huge dinner and either talk or watch the tv or admire the scenery outside the room. Onsen bath lovely and hot. Location remote but bus service is excellent.

Vacationing in a postcard

This was one of the most gorgeous places I have ever stayed. The views were stunning, we spent one whole day just watching the snow fall. The private onsen was relaxing and peaceful. We had breakfast each morning we were there and dinner 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and every meal was better than the last. All of the food was high quality, beautifully prepared and delicious. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Honestly, this is the best place I've ever stayed and was worth the higher cost.

The Best Stay in Japan

I had an incredible stay at Mozumo! I wish I had stayed there longer. It was an impeccable property with incredible service. I love Mozumo and will return again.

初めて利用し、静かなひと時をすごせました。 気になった点としましては ・廊下の音が少し部屋に聞こえる ・布団があるお部屋のコンセントの電気がなかなか通らず苦戦した(結局一時的に通りましたが、朝には通っていませんでした) ・冬で外がなかなかの寒さだからか、部屋の暖房が暑すぎて寝るとき下げても暑かったです。雪が相当積もるところだからこういうものなのかな？と切って寝ました

모즈모에서의 휴식

조용히 쉬며 온천을 만끽할 수 있는 좋은 온천료칸이다. 제공되는 음식도 좋은 재료를 이용하여 정갈하고 맛있을 뿐더러 서비스를 하는 직원들의 친절함이 돋보였다. 객실마다 있는 온천탕은 최고 수준이었고 설경 속의 야외 노천탕도 특색있고 매우 좋았다.

Fantastique !

Juste à quelques pas de la station de bus Hirayu Onsen depuis Takayama, on arrive dans un hall où l’on est accueilli et directement pris en charge. On est dorloté par un petit thé vert pendant les petites formalités, les employés du onsen ne parlent pas forcément anglais mais on arrive à se comprendre facilement. Dès lors la découverte de la chambre et quelle découverte, tout est soigné, clair, simple. On nous fait rapidement le tour et on s’extasie devant le décor mélangeant tradition et modernité du mobilier. Un salon espacé, sol en tatamis doux, table basse dans un bois élégant, deux chaises sans pieds à la japonaises. Les portes coulissantes en papier s’ouvrent, derrière, des fenêtres coulissantes, donnant sur la forêt. Une grande chambre est aussi présente avec futons très confortables. Mais le clou du spectacle est le bain privé ! On y a accès depuis la chambre et également depuis le salon. Un grand bain carré avec l’eau chaude qui coule sans cesse, autour de grandes baies vitrées qui s’ouvrent) qui donnent toujours accès à la nature mais permettent aussi d’aérer le bain, en effet, il y fait très vite chaud. Avant de pénétrer dans le bain, vous avez une partie douche pour se laver. Dans ce bain, vous pouvez vous relaxer, tout est calme autour, juste le bruit de l’eau qui coule donnant un côté zen. Les repas sont parfait et vous découvrirez une nourriture avec des produits locaux, des saveurs authentiques, qui enchanteront également vos yeux! Parfait !
