We chose it for ease of getting to the Nanjichang night market. Not the touristy one. One friend in Teipei had never been there cause it only bus service, not metro. Easy transport service to various spots. Great breakfast. Very comfortable room with a soaking tub in the shower!

I love the room design for this hotel, hardwood floor(not carpet, I hate carpet floor) separate shower and toilet room. I also enjoy the breakfast there during my stay, so many selections available and pretty tasty as well. Definitely recommend for other friends.

I stayed in Taipei Garden Hotel for 9 nights. The location is very convenient and the hotel is in a walkable distance to subway station. There are many restaurants, convenient stores and supermarket. My room is on 15 Ty floor and has a great view. I rank the hotel as a 4.5 star and I do recommend it if you want to stay close to an area where local lives.

The hotel is just 2-3 bus stops away from Ximending, super convenient and is centrally located. The entire hotel was super homely and elegant, even the lift itself gave a different vibe. Amenities were great! Definitely will choose this hotel again when back in Taipei.

The triple room was quite spacious compare to other standard triple room. Clean room, modern interior. Loved spacious bathroom with separate tub. Front lady was very helpful. The view from gym was quite nice. There’s 24h Carrefour nearby, which was very convenient. (You have to across huge intersections though) it’s not in front of the station but not too far. Breakfast, you may feel bit pricey but it is decent. It was a great stay, I would love to stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located near an MRT stop and there is plenty that can be reached in walking distance. The room was spacious and included nice amenities including tea, coffee, fresh fruit, water and great toiletries.

Very clean and modern. It is a walkable distance to Ximending and the Liberty Square Arch. It offers unlimited snacks (you can go pick in the store nearby) which was fun for the kids. The staff was extremely helpful. The gym is a bit dated but adequate.

Excellent comfortable base in Taipei, with easy transport links, decent breakfast and helpful staff. Our room on the 13th floor had great views over the city and a lovely bathroom - an ideal peaceful retreat after busy days exploring.

Satisfactory hotel in Zhongzhen district
Location is average. Nearest metro line is about 5 to 7 mins walk. Walking distance to the ximen night market is a plus. Cleanest in room but saw an insect in the breakfast area. Breakfast selection is ok. Service personnel are polite. Also the free snacks and coffee machine in room are a plus point.

Overall a clean room, but some areas had a layer of dust settled on. It is a stone’s throw away from Xiaonanmen station, and about a 10 minute stroll to Ximending.

For a family of four, this was a great little spot. Walkable to an underground mall with a temple and easy access to transportation. The breakfast buffet was perfect.
