Fantastic hotel for short stays. Concierge was fantastic with helping us organise a late check-out and they even have bag storage services. We stayed in Sydney for a convention and chose this hotel for its location. Very choice, sandwiched between Town Hall and Darling Harbour, it's incredibly accessible to nearby hotspots.

My room was so clean and beautiful! The area was nice and central to walk almost anywhere downtown or catch transportation to where you needed to go. Staff was super friendly and helpful for any needs, and the hotel was really nice!

Renovated hotel pleasant stay

We stayed in the recently renovated hotel. Room was over a very busy street, but the insulation of the windows kept the noise we experienced to a minimum. Great location and friendly staff.

Great location !

The room was so much larger than expected. The location of this hotel is amazing with so much shopping and eateries and bars along with proximity to the train. The staff was extremely helpful and gave us great suggestions as to where we should go for nightlife and for brunch and for shopping!

Fabulous Hotel

I stayed at The Clarence Hotel for 8 nights and had the best time ever. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They made me feel welcome & couldn't do enough for me to make sure i had a fantastic stay. The room was spacious and so beautiful, i also used the gym facility which was so lovely. I will 100% stay here again as its a great location to get everywhere.

The staff in this hotel were the best part. So friendly and helpful. The hotel room was super nice and new. It’s very comfortable and has more space than you think. Absolutely would come back here again.

Cute little Sydney CBD hotel. Rooms are small but if - like me - you're hardly there then its fine. Staff were very friendly and effecient/helpful. If you need a good value for money hotel for 1-3 nights for city/Pyrmont meets, its perfect!

Here are my pros and cons Pros -great location and property ( 5 min walk to QVB) -clean and tidy rooms -friendly staff -lobby smells divine -comfy bed -smart tv Cons - no room service - uncomfortable pillows -thin walls( you can hear every sound outside your window) -tv placed in odd spot ( made it slightly awkward to watch movies in bed) We enjoyed our stay but the noise was a big problem for us, made it hard to get to sleep.

Had a lovely overnight stay here. Room was really big and modern. Bed was comfy. Bathroom had everything we needed. The staff were kind enough to walk some bandaids up to the room on request. Easily walkable to anywhere you need to get to in the CBD. Our room was overlooking Clarence St and the only downside was that really early in the morning, a tow truck showed up to tow (what I assume was - based on how long it took and how much noise it made) multiple cars away. It was at that point we realised the room had zero soundproofing. So if you want a good nights sleep, maybe ask for a room that isn’t street facing.
