Nice Rest Stop

Went to see family in Colorado City. The hotel had easy access to the highway and downtown. Rooms were adequate. Good showers, hot water and comfortable bed. Exactly what we needed. And breakfast was a nice addition when we wanted something quick like juice, coffee or fruit. Would definitely stay again.

Beds, towels, floor, pillows , sheets, all stained. Asked for new linen and towels and seems to be trend. My expectations are not that high- and this was rough. Looked like staff just made beds and threw trash before we got there. Still dog hair on floor. Thought it was just our room but family in for same event said same about room. Staff was polite and breakfast was okay.

Overall it’s a fantastic hotel with a great rate. Rooms and beds are great. However, the breakfast is barely edible. Things are out and they are cutting corners. But the coffee…we’re in 2024, can we get more sugar substitutes besides sweet n low and plain sugar???

It was easy enough to find, right off the interstate. It was quiet (for being right off the interstate). The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about it that it was a very thin top sheet as a comforter, I wish I would have brought a thicker blanket! Also, the AC had a sound, basically like the fan was on 24/7 and that was a little difficult to sleep through. Overall, the stay was good!

The rooms weren't as clean as expected. There was a left over shampoo or conditioner bottle under our bathroom vanity, there was a metal piece sticking out from under the bed, the pool was closed when we checked in then reopened the next day without the heat and the bathroom was dirty. One of the front desk employees wore a hoodie with the hood up, and another was literally in her pajamas every day she was there. The breakfast staff was very nice and she did a very good job keeping the breakfast area clean.
