Room condition is excellent especially the bathroom which is very spacious and warm with separate air conditioning control. The landing area is a nice touch. Bed is very comfortable. TV is big and sharp. The only thing is that we did not get a welcome fruit platter which we got all the other hotels. View from the window is also great. Hotel is one block walk from nearest subway station. Neighbourhood is quiet and appears somewhat upmarket.

It was difficult to communicate with the staff at the front desk because they couldn't understand English. Very poor room service, our room wasn't vacuumed for two days and we had to call the manager to see it herself. The breakfast was very good and the staff in charge of the breakfast were excellent. The outside garden.was poorly managed, it needs a much better attention.

Awkward moment

The Marriot Suzhou is at a quiet area away from commercial area. You need to take a taxi to the close by shopping areas and tourist attraction. Other than this, the stay in Marriot Suzhou can be considered as perfect. Check in was a bit disappointing. The staff handling the check in was probably not trained properly. She informed that all is done and passed us the room key to go to our room. While walking to the lift, she suddenly rushed to us to tell us to make payment for the stay first. Strange and awkward indeed.

Front desk staffs are very well educated, friendly, and helpful. The house keeper at 36 floor was kind and helpful. Breakfast was great to start a fresh day. Room was clean and cozy. Overall, a wonderful experience at this Marriott. Thank you all!
