We enjoyed our stay. Our apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Great location with excellent restaurants, cafes and the beach within easy walking distance. The apartment we had was clean and tidy but is due for a full deep clean. Would stay here again.

We requested a unit with a bath. Unfortunately, the plug did not fit but the ladies on reception managed to sort it our for us after a few days. Handy location. Spacious rooms. Had everything we needed for our stay.

I stayed here for about a week and chose this place because it had cooking facilities. I found it very convenient, with shops nearby and everything I needed to cook and do laundry, which was great. The facilities aren’t new, but they are clean and functional, so it met my needs perfectly.

Lovely spot for a short break

Great position with short walk to the wharf and other takeaways nearby. Unit had a lovely lookout to the river and sea entrance. Pool was good and a neatly kept garden. Unit itself was looking a bit tired though however , very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

A lovely apartment, clean and quiet just 5 minutes walk to the main shops and beach of Mooloolaba. The view of the river from the balcony was lovely, the building and street were quiet, and yet just a short walk to be in the heart of everything .. the perfect balance!

I have stayed at the Riva twice now and have found the two bedroom two bathroom apartments to be perfect for two couples. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils etc .The dining and living areas are spacious. The managers are helpful and very responsive.

The property was in an excellent position, walking distance to shops and take aways. The bed was comfortable, staff friendly and very helpful. There was a starter pack provided consisting of tea and coffee, salt and pepper, paper towel, detergents,fly spray and a lot more. The only downside was the parking- very small spaces and very low. Not nearly enough room for bigger vehicles.

Bed was too soft. Kitchen could have been better equiped. Didn’t have a jug to put water into fridge. Only supplies 4 coffee sachets for a 2 night stay. Building quite old. All windows quite corroded and difficult to open and shut. Our door didn’t self close and had to be vigilant that the unit did lock when leaving. Had a great stay regardless. Out second time there and probably not the last.

It was a very well sticker appartment it had loads of glasses but one mugs was dirty & stained with coffee. There was a coffee machine but no pods to make any coffee with.

Great little gem

We stayed at Excellsior for 3 nights. Apartment was old but clean and comfortably. Close to shops and Wharf etc. Apartment had little luxurys of home like salt, glad wrap, washing detergent for clothes, morning fresh and sponge for dishwashing and also a handwash in bathroom. I usually bring my own but didnt have to use them. Communication was excellent with staff and they were very friendly. Aircon in lounge room only but fan in bedroom only but it was enough in April but not sure how hot it would get in high 30. Car park is good but a little tight but at least you get a free car park. All in all great little getaway and would book again.
