"I loved the stay at the resort, and will be going back for sure. I stayed with my parents in the village loft chalet, which provided a nice bedroom downstairs for them and then upstairs I had the loft with its own bathroom and shower, which was great. And they had their own en suite bathroom too. It was very quiet, and loved getting out for a walk in the evenings. Spent a lot of time down at the pools. All the guests, so friendly. You could just zone out on your own or you could engage in conversations. As my parents were mobility challenged, we drove from the chalet to the pools, but otherwise was walkable.
It was great having the full kitchen in the chalet but do be prepared to bring spices, food, wrap, and things like that. There were plates and cutlery, pots, pans, coffee, maker, kettle, etc. I found the bed upstairs in the loft, very comfortable. No blackout curtains up there, but there was in the bedroom downstairs.
I would feel very comfortable going back on a solo trip. There was a mix of couples, families, girls weekend. One thing I wasn’t told, was the lower pool hours. I found out it opened at 11 AM and when I went back after dinner, it was locked up. So do check and that one ended up being my favourite.
Didn’t use the spa facilities, and also noticed on one of my walks that they had paddle boards, and I guess you could check at the front desk if you wanted to take one out. Overall, a great stay and as mentioned would be back."
