"Staffing was friendly Easy check-in Clean room"

"We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom. "The staff and amenities were great! Breakfast was hot and well stocked! We enjoy the pool alone twice on our trip. Only down side was our room was not very clean, stains on the sheets, shower and floor were dirty and it smelled a little bit. We also did not use the WiFi due to having to make an account but that was our choice."

"The only reason this property is not getting 5 stars from me is because the restaurant/bar was closed during the entirety of my trip. I was looking forward to dining there and enjoying a drink or two. The room was super comfortable and well appointed. I was very happy with all the staff I interacted with."

"We might have just come during a time when they were understaffed, but the day we checked out it was impossible to find a single employee to help us. We didn't need the breakfast but wanted a cup of coffee before we headed out and had some other questions and we went to the front desk multiple times, even walked into the dining room, and never saw an employee. There was a sign on the table where they clearly usually have coffee but it was never actually there. Overall it was an easy place to...
