My stay at this hotel couldn't have gone better. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location was out of this world. The views out our hotel window were world class. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The view is very good. The hotel is old and the room smells old too. They don't have early check-in. We had to come back and check-in later. I have ordered 2 rooms but they were in different floors. The staffs don't greet us when we ate breakfast, maybe they are shy?

incredible views from this historic hotel
The location of this hotel is awesome. The views from the hotels are incredible! The hotel rooms are a bit dated, and given the age of this unique Historic hotel, that is to be expected. The old pictures in the piano lounge are really fun to look at! It’s a really close drive to the summer ski place and some really nice national park areas.

Sparse But Good
This old hotel is a bit remote, but in a lovely location with a waterfall on the edge of the property. With a car, the hotel is wonderfully situated for visiting fjords and glaciers. The rooms are sparse but comfortable. The front desk manager, Pers, is extremely helpful.

Excellent hotel, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in this hotel. This hotel was built in 1905 and gone through a lot of renovation but kept its old style. It is located on top of the mountain overlooking the beautiful valley and also very close to the waterfall and 8 km away from ski center. Would like to thank the hotel owner and wish him all the best.

Hei,Dere sjekket inn etter vår restaurant var stengt og gav heller ingen beskjed om at dere ønsket å spise slik at vi kunne forberedt noe til dere. Av den grunn fikk dere heller ikke noe å spise. Jeg vil anbefale dere å kontakte hotellene i god tid dersom dere forventer sen ankomst i tilfelle dere ønsker å få noe servert.

Totalt nedslitt hotell. Møkkete, gammelt, rett og slett ekkelt. Elendig buffet! Et ran at den koster 498 kroner per pers!! Hit skal vi aldri igjen! Anbefaler alle å holde seg unna!

Mange takk for hyggelig besøk. Hotellet er et av de eldste i landet og er fra 1903. Pt driver vi med oppussing, men samtidig ønsker vi å beholde den historiske stilen. Alle rom har individuell oppvarming som gjestene selv styrer.
