"We very much enjoyed our weekend at the simsbury 1820. The rooms are decorated in the manner of a luxurious early 20th century; poster bed; spacious; full bath; on site good quality restaurant; extremely helpful staff; electric charging stations for my vehicle; and access to amenities at a sister hotel, the simsbury inn, only 1 1/2 miles down the road. Everything is well maintained and clean."

"I always love to stay at the Litchfield Inn. They have added a swimming pool out back which is absolutely fantastic, with a lovely pool house with a terrific shower. Breakfast is always terrific, and the rooms are always comfortable."

"* Bathroom door needs replacement as it is starting to seperate at the interior bottom. * Thermostat doesn't seem to match the temperature set and often the room would get hot, especially at night. *Entry door to the room was slightly sticky and setting the deadbolt was not as easy as it should have been."
