"It's clean and it's cheaper than anything you'll get in Effingham. I've stayed here a number of times over the last ten years or so because it is perfectly situated between my home and destination. But the place is showing its age. The property desperately needs some upkeep. The rooms were refreshed a while ago and could stand to have another. Windows were filthy. Breakfast - get there early and you'll get a decent cup of coffee but the hot breakfast (an egg patty, sausage, and some tiny biscuits) is okay."

The king size bed is a larger version, but the pillows were of unusual variety - I didn't find one that was good for me. They were large, some particularly heavy, and dense. We had a clean room and bathroom. It was easy to park."
