"The lighting was apalling! Mirrors in dark corners or bad light. Had to use a torch in the restaurant to be able to read tge menu. Everything black or dark grey which gave a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Most importantly wee were not told about tge major traffic diversion!!! It took us 2 1/2 hours from Bruges to find tge hotel!!! I used to be a regular client but this experience was apalling for such an expensive and well known chain! Also not enough tea bags or milk in the room for 2 days for...

"Good breakfast, great choice of food , clean hotel, friendly staff, let down by cramped bedroom in roof and bed which offered little or no support, cheap square pillows . The room was supposed to be “charming” , there was nothing charming about this room. As it was in the eaves/ roof it got very warm , air con unit too noisy to leave on whilst sleeping ! Room 725"

"Great stay here. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and eager to help. Location is good to walk to downtown and sites. Only negative is parking. We chose this hotel as it said self parking available but spots are very limited and needs to use a park case that appears close but in reality was not easy to get to if parked in back hotel parking lot to unload luggage. Make sure to get clear directions from Front desk on how to get to parkcade as lots of one ways if you miss...

"Accommodatie zeer goed, mooie parking. De ligging dicht bij de dijk van Middelkerke.De enige opmerking die we hebben, en deze heeft niet onmiddellijk met het hotel te maken, maar met de mensen die er logeren. Het was twee nachten zeer luidruchtig tot 02h30. Dit is wel wat overdreven. Misschien wel iets om door te geven aan het management."

Besides located in a perfect location, the rooms were generous in size; the breakfast was among the best we’ve had, the bar patio was very serene and peaceful and then there are the staff. Everyone was friendly, smiling and patient. No wonder this is a five star hotel!!!!"

It was in a great location, walkable to restaurants and the market square. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bruges. "
