"We were driving up from Maryland to Michigan. Our hotel had been confirmed and we had already emailed back-and-forth that we were going to be staying and arriving late. The hotel confirmed that a late arrival was fine but when we got here they had told us they had canceled our reservation when I called for help. They said they didn’t care and that they had emailed me saying they canceled the reservation. When I checked my emails once I got here because I had been driving for seven hours. They had emailed me at 7 o’clock in the evening to let me know that my reservation was canceled the same day that I was driving up. They were not helpful. They were rude. They told me it was my fault and they did not do anything to accommodate us or do anything remotely helpful in the situation I would never ever ever use this hotel again and it should be removed from your site and never allowed to be used again."

"Overall great. The staff checking in was very friendly. Check out staff was good. Entire properly was very nice and clean. Room was great, though the pillows were a little soft and there were water stains on the ceiling in our room. The shower floor was also slippery. The elevators were a little sketchy; they shook and squealed way more than they needed to. Parking was no issue. Good stay, would stay there again."

"Room was not thoroughly cleaned and the WiFi did not work on my business trip. Also went to make coffee and found old bag of coffee in pot with mold. Not to mention I called front desk at 1am for the neighbors on both sides partying and they never answered I would save my money and stay in my truck"

"Very nice hotel showing its sign of age. Elevator was in need of repair - many of lights in the buttons didn’t work, most importantly, the ground floor or number one. The elevator would also pause for what seemed a very long time maybe 20 seconds after reaching his floor before the door open. On the first few times using it it was very unnerving. The public areas were very clean with very upscale furniture throughout the lobby area. There was a massive outdoor garden with seating that I’m sure they use for special events. It’s an old hotel in a very upscale area that just needs some updating. Interestingly enough, the door to my room on the eighth floor did not have a deadbolt or a device like a chain or a bar to keep someone from getting in if they got past the door locked. I haven’t noticed that in recent memory."
