Podstine Hotel

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel Podstine during our honeymoon and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The included breakfast was one of the highlights. There was a great selection, including some really unique and interesting options that went well beyond the typical hotel breakfast. The restaurant on site was also excellent, which made it really convenient to have a great meal without having to go anywhere. Our room situation had a bit of a mishap due to an Expedia booking error, which was completely outside of Podstine’s control. That said, the staff went above and beyond to make it right and gave us two complimentary 30 minute massages. We really appreciated how they handled the situation. The private beach is absolutely beautiful and the swimming is fantastic. The hotel is also close enough to the Old Town that you can easily walk there, while still feeling peaceful and removed from the busier areas. We stayed in the annex and had an incredible ocean view from our balcony. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and they even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine for our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, Podstine made our honeymoon in Hvar even more special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Good good, good facilities. A bit of extra thought into the deco would be good. Most staff lovely, some occasionally rude especially at the bar outside in the trees but the hotel and pool side staff were really lovely."

"Hotel has lovely facilities. Rooms were nice but nothing fancy. What makes this place is the lovely grounds, pool, and restaurant area. There are lots of lounges, both around the pool and at the beach. A pleasant walk into Stari Grad town, 10-15 mins. Buffet breakfast is wonderful. Free exercise class just OK. Hot tubs need improvement. Overall, this place is a lovely resort and I recommend it."

"This is a decent hotel located on a very beautiful beach. The hotel itself is fine. Not spectacular, but pleasant. It's a solid 4-star hotel. For the price, it's beachfront location makes it a good value. The view out the window is spectacular. It's located within easy walking distance of many fun restaurants along the beach. The hotel has several day beds on the beach that you can only use if you pay for them. They don't let you reserve the day beds, so you need to go out and claim them early. Breakfast was ok. Many people enjoy the restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel. I found it to be ok. Good, but not amazing."
