"Staff was great!"

"Overall I'd give Coconut a solid 4-4.5 out of 5 stars. The people / staff are awesome, the place is kept very clean & the food is good! We stayed on the harmony / adults only side & liked the fact that there were never any children on that side. Two pools, a fun bar & always adequate chaise lounges, Palapas & their unique & very comfortable rotating padded recliners. We've travelled extensively & never saw these type of chairs before! Considering the week we were there was allegedly sold out, we never had a problem finding a seat (none of that having to get up at 6am to put your towels & a book down to stake out a chair before they were gone!) Numerous restraunts to choose from & different theme nites at the buffet each evening. The Italian & Calabash / Veranda were our favorites. The lobby bar carries all top shelf liquor & had very talented musicians playing almost every nite! We also loved the Jerk Shack & their delicious chicken, pork, sausage, rice & beans, plantains, etc every day if you wanted to grab a quick bite in your barhing suit. Place also had several convenient coffe stations throughout. The only cons I could give this place is that the water pressure is poor in the rooms (we were on 3rd floor, Oceanfront junior suite Harmony side). Also, a couples massage at one of the beach cabanas was like $550 which I thought was a lil' pricey given the fact that overall, the place wasn't that fancy (marble & granite everywhere, etc). "Clean room, some wear and tear. Very basic kitchen appliances only and no extras like cooking oil, sugar, or any spices. No paper towels. However the little market offered these things and there was a nearby grocery store. The dinners were excellent. Very close to the road but on the ocean side you only hear the waves. The room on the sie facing the room can be loud with road noise. Beach is nice and right there. Sandals resort is next door. Overall pleasant stay and it served its purpose for what we needed, which was two bedrooms and2 bathrooms and a nice space right on the beach "

"Our stay was amazing. Rooms were very clean, views were beautiful, food was delicious and the bar was endless!! Staff are also very friendly and helpful. Definitely on the list for next time! "

"The property was undergoing renovations but this was not distracting or problematic. The room while a bit on the older side was very well appointed and kept clean. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The location was excellent especially when paired with the access to the Resort via the shuttle. I would highly recommend this hotel for good value. Close to KFC and a decent shopping area."

"The staff at Ladera is committed to making sure you have a great stay, and it shows in every touch point — from planning excursions to turndown service. They do offer room service breakfast but I recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant. Take the time to explore! There are so many cool features! "
