"Great, spacious rooms with some nice amenities such as free à la carte breakfast and free ice cream 24/7. The property is very well maintained and super centrally located. We highly recommend this for couples as well as families. You’re right at the start of the Sunday night walking market and a few minutes walk from the old city walls and a few awesome temples. The staff were all outstanding and kind!"
"Loved our stay at Viangluang. Great location, walk around the Old Town no problem, clean comfortable rooms, lovely staff, great breakfast choices and a refreshing pool. the pool only opens at 10am in the morning which I didn't mind at all, I love it that they respect the privacy of the guests located near the pool."
"Very friendly staff, great location, for ehat you're paying for i thought the place was good value. I will try to stay here again if I am ever booking again"
"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tamarind Village for so many reasons: a beautiful lush setting, wonderful friendly staff, and delicious authentic meals. Our room was clean, quiet, and close to the hotel’s amenities, their restaurant, pool, spa, and shop. It was also located perfectly inside the OLD City making walking easily accessible to much the city has to offer. Having stayed in Bangkok for the first part of our vacation, we didn’t feel we really experienced the richness of Thailand’s culture. However, Tamarind Village provided us with many niceties, such as providing tea upon arrival, robe and slippers, a city walk, and cultural pool side offerings. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others and appreciate those who traveled there before us for their glowing recommendations."
"The location was great and centrally located to everything we needed. We hired a private driver to go to further out of town. Unfortunately, our bathroom would flood every time that we took a shower and pools under the tiles. Mud would squirt out every time we walked in the bathroom. The hotel lost water for some hours during one day of our stay but we took that time to go to the laundromat. The hotel is definitely an older building. Breakfast was not worth it. We only ate there one day and then elsewhere for the rest of our stay. Our bed was decent and we had a nice balcony. The Sunday market is within walking distance and INCREDIBLE! There is also a nightlife area within 15 minutes walking. Overall we were comfortable and had a lovely time but would avoid in the future due to the bathroom floor issues alone. We couldn’t walk in the bathroom without outside shoes on and had to have towels on the floor for most of the time."
