"Overall it was a nice stay. Great amenities for the kids and they were all open and in good repair. Staff were quite friendly.
We stayed in a two-queen bed poolside unit and the music from the pool goes from 10am to 8pm and is very loud, so if you're looking for quiet, that's not the unit type for you. Bonus was that there was a BBQ on our patio that we didn't expect. Our room, bedding and towels were clean and everything worked well, although the stovetop was a bit tricky to use.
One area for improvement is housekeeping. They need to respect the signs that are on the doors. Once they knocked when it said Do Not Disturb, and once they walked right on in when it said Do Not Disturb. A couple times we did not get our maid service because they said the sign said Do Not Disturb, but I guess they had seen that in the morning and never circled back after we left around noon and flipped our sign to Maid Service. They were responsive though and generously replenished what we needed when we asked. Note that housekeeping doesn't make the beds during maid service, which is lame when you're in vacation mode. Lol!
One area of concern was that one of the lifeguards wasn't very attentive. He kept doing handstands, stepping out of the pool area, and was busy on his phone. If parents weren't watching their children, that could have been tragic. Also, while the music was generally fun, some of it had adult themes and swear words - inappropriate for the many young children at the pool."
"The cabin was good, nice place to land. Rest of the property not what it once was, the park was decent however the swimming pond is closed and the water slide is not operational."
"I enjoyed my stay. While the place was clean and the beds were super comfy…it was old and outdated and in desperate need of upgrades…but everything worked. The price definitely reflects in the aesthetics.
The AC was awesome on a hot day and they are dog friendly.
The TVs are upgraded to flat screens and have hdmi ports. The kitchen was basic. We didn’t use it but it was a full kitchen with coffeemaker and microwave."
