"The staff is totally accommodating. They serve breakfast daily and the coffee is excellent. The hotel was built in 1949 so in our room just the very basics but it did have a microwave & brand new fridge. It didn't have a lot of extra plus for phones and tablets. You will need to unplug something to use a plug. No plug in the bathroom for a hairdryer (and bring your own) they don't have one in the room. But very convenient, quiet and great prices. We were using this as a base to visit...

The inn was currently under renovation during our stay, so there was some construction noise and inconvenience in the parking lot since many of the spaces near our room where taken by the vehicles of construction workers. Our room had been renovated and was nice overall. It was well laid out and we really liked the low lying motion detection lights near the floor for night time movement. "We stayed in 301 deluxe rm. I believed was downstairs. We had to carry everything up very steep stairs. She said she'd put us downstairs but there wasn't anything available. The code was on the dark low doorknob. My husband had to kneel with his light phone to do it. Above hall lights there were nests of bugs! No waste basket in the room. When the tiny basket in the bathroom was full, I had to get a trash bag from the nice lady at the bar. The worst was that the floor was so crooked it...

"Place is dated but was clean. Checkin was easy and clerk very helpful. Location isn’t great and no good place to walk a dog despite collecting a dog fee. Parking spots are very tight and many “workers” staying there taking 2 spots with their trucks. The restaurant out front (italian) is outstanding and is the reason we stayed here on a trip across country."

"This is an older motel but they do their best to keep it clean and comfortable. If you don't mind the older part, it is a great value. If you don't like older, you probably should stay at one of the more recent motels."

"Wake up call at 5:30am the first day was the hotel operator yelling and berating a guest for accessing the open (not a closed room) breakfast area. (We were on a different floor.) Breakfast area had no prepared hot food at all. Dry cereal, had to ask for milk, waffle machine, and white bread for toast. My young gdau visited and we went to the pool area. Hotel operator arrived about 5 minutes later and taped a notice to the door there would be a $50 fine assessed to the room if visitors were...

"Ari exact 2:30 in afternoon and was told room was not ready. Check-in supposedly at 3 p.m. Staff seemed to be to not be in a mood to accept a guest checking in. Breakfast not to healthy. Sugary donuts and cereal. No variety for a person that is health conscious."
