"So lucky to have found this hotel! Skyline has been operating less than a year while they renovate the property. Surprisingly there was very little noise and the finished area is very nice. The staff are helpful and friendly. The lobby is pleasant. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was strong with plenty of hot water and good quality products. Food in the restaurant was okay to excellent - the chicken Caesar wrap was the best I’ve ever had. And the airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Even in the middle of the night! I know where I’m staying next time I fly to DTW. Thanks Skyline!"
"The purpose of our trip was to see a Detroit Tigers game. The hotel is a quick walk to the stadium. It is the perfect combination of modern convenience and old world charm. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shinola."
