wants to be more than it is
No staff on reception when arriving. Not warned restaurant was very busy when checking in (eventually) and when going down to try and get table was told it was fully booked - after 12 hours on the road the last thing I wanted to hear. And at breakfast there was no staff available to ask for an egg free hot breakfast - everything was pre-prepared and contained EGG! And the coffee was coloured water. No, just no!

Quiet area. Good breakfast. Curtains in the room didnt block the light. The floor of the toilet gets all wet after taking shower.

Wonderful breakfast. Comfortable and clean rooms. Helpful staff. BUT no pool! It was advertised on their website but they had done away with it. Hugely disappointing. They need to update their website!

Soro's best hotel
I have no reservations giving this hotel a great review. The staff and accommodations were excellent. My only challenge was the size of the bathroom. But the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very modern. The breakfast was the best. And the restaurant and bar were a perfect addition. I know we're going to stay again the next time we visit beautiful Soro.

Beautiful Nature nearby
A very nice hotel with very good dinner options, the breakfast, not so much The area is very beautiful with two big lakes that could work as running tracks in walking distance, The restaurant overlooks the vineyard that`s attached to the hotel and makes a very good morning view, The room I used was ok but the bathroom was really small

Thatched Roof Stay
Off the beaten path, rooms adequate, breakfast good. No restaurants nearby. The one we found in Soro was booked and directed us back to the hotel.

Modern hotel near lovely Soro
Comwell Soro is a large modern hotel on the outskirts of Soro, just off the main E20 east-west road across Denmark and less than an hour from Copenhagen airport. It is of architectural interest, as one of the largest thatched buildings in the world. The rooms are small but stylish and comfortable; the free gift of a conserve from the wonderful store of Danish products in the hotel was a lovely touch. Contrary to the website, there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The restaurant is a lovely room with great views over the lake and valley to the town of Soro. The evening meal was world-class and the buffet breakfast was breathtaking. The staff were extremely helpful, providing blankets and cushions for those taking coffee on the terrace in the morning, and there is a swimming pool, games room and bicycle hire on the premises.

Good stop off point en route to CPH
This was a well maintained and friendly hotel, but probably better for business than for a family vacation. High end restaurant and bar, and good swimming pool. Excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms were fine but no a/c and only showers draining onto the floor like an ADA room. This seemed to be a common Danish design but it sure made a mess of the bathroom. Soro itself (2 miles away) seemed very pleasant and it would have been good to spend a little more time in the town.

Served its purpose.
Hotel & room was clean. Bed was a little to hard for my taste. Breakfast consisted of runny eggs and over cooked bacon. Stayed at a different hotel the 2nd night (because they wanted to raise the price so it was double the amount) and I was more satisfied at the Scandic.

Would suit family groups of travellers better than couples - plenty of space to sit and have a coffee around the hotel, and the breakfast space was large (though resembled more of a conference room where there happened to be food rather than a restaurant). Bathrooms are tiny, without separate shower compartments, so the floor gets very wet. Reasonably clean. Not sure whether there are enough eating options locally to get you through a stay of more than a couple of nights - the menu for the restaurant in the hotel looked good, but was incredibly expensive.

Great relaxing stay
You'll need a car for this one, but once there you'll be very pleased you booked!...Large conference type hotel with pool and spa facilities. Ground floor rooms were being refurbished while I stayed there but no inconvenience. Rooms average size but clean and good beds. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Free wifi throughout.. Good stop over if you were passing through the country. Very pleased and highly recommended. Wife or girlfriend would not hate you for bookig this one!.

Der var skimmel lignende pletter langs hele loftskanten på badeværelset. Ved morgenmaden stod mange borde efterladt med brugt service, man så ikke en eneste ansat i restauranten.

Nærværende personale
Vi havde en god oplevelse på hotellet, som på den ene side ligger pudsigt tæt på et parcelhuskvarter, men også tæt på skov og sø, der er perfekt til en smuk gåtur. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og nærværende, og restauranten var lækker både til aften og morgenmaden.
