Good place awesome beautiful pool,nice gardening Friendly Staff Location is near to the city centre of Sohar / big huge Parking Lot in front of the Hotel / nice Guy availbe/ free WiFi good breakfast/ international cuisine available at the Hotel restaurant!

Très correct pour une étape

La chambre est bien. La salle de bain est spacieuse, grande douche italienne, mais elle pourrait être rénovée. Le dîner était inclus, au choix parmi une carte. Le cuisinier est très bien, les plats étaient très savoureux. Séjour juste pour la nuit, nous n’avons pas utilisé la piscine.

Very helpful reception staff, lovely swimming pool and well-equipped gym, but rooms are poorly lit and ventilated and not that clean, towels are insufficient and worn. Moreover the area is very noisy (close to a main road) and the loud music from the pub can be heard until very late at night.

J'ai eu du mal à trouver l'hôtel et n'ai pu arriver qu'avec de l'aide car quand on est engagé sur la voie rapide et que l'on veut rejoindre une rue latérale du bon côté ce n'est pas facile surtout de nuit ; grand parking gratuit ; accueil sympa et Check in rapide; grande chambre confortable avec TV satellite ; petit déjeuner copieux et varié et bon

L'Hotel è discreto ma non eccezionale. La piscina è perennemente in manutenzione e quindi non utilizzabile. Il buffet della colazione è povero e relativamente costoso. Ma camera non è male, abbastanza pulita e spaziosa, solo il bagno è vecchiotto e non bellissimo. Buono internet, anche abbastanza veloce e non male l'impianto di condizionamento. Per il prezzo offerto su Expedia (circa 50 EUR/day) comunque un soggiorno più che accettabile.

A lovely stay

Last minute getaway to visit friends in Sohar. Never knew this place existed, lovely landscaped inner courtyard. Was upgraded free of charge and had a lovely poolside room with nice furnishings, excellent bedding. Generally the hotel is showing its age, but the staff was friendly and efficient, the room service food was wonderful and the pool was enticingly clean and beautifully landscaped.

I booked this hotel and mentioned not to provide any ground o noisy room they provided what the opposite. They tried to take booking money again and said they dont know hotels.com after a long discussion when i showed that hotels .com already diducted money tjey were satisfied .the hotel is expensive i would recommend to stay in another hotel which mich more cheaper value of money. There were no coffee tea slippers wtc the min things you need when you stay they are trying to save money and only send items when requested after. Long waiting

Good choice for your short stays in Sohar.

It was a one night stay before I pass to Dubai. The bathroom was not clean enough so I never thought to have a shower. In general you pay less for this 3 star hotel , and it's for sure they are not saying that they are the best. The monay paid corresponds the quality you recieve. Good choice for your short stays in Sohar.

Okay hotel

The hotel is close to the highway and basically away from the center. This seems like a business men's hotel. The hotel restaurant was exelent, with a big buffer with all kind of food, mostly Indian inspired. There was also a chef who could Cook different kind of beefs, chicken or fish over open fire.

Zwischenstopp am Weg nach Maskat, der sehr angenehm war. Im Zentrum das Pool, mit den Zimmerausgängen in den Innenhof. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, vor allem am Abend. Herausragendes Essen mit sehr engagiertem Personal und Koch. Die Zimmer sind groß und auch sauber, Ausstattung ist immer Geschmakssache.

Fine for one night

This hotel generally offers a good stay and is in a convenient location. The hotel building is a bit old and could use some upgrading, but the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are quite large. It would have been helpful had the staff explained how the water heater in the room worked in conjunction with the room key; make sure to ask or you will end up with cold water for your shower. The buffet breakfast is excellent.

Good for one night.

Good for one night, if you want to experience the Sohar as just a normal Omani city. Not much too see, except for a nice beach promenade, with lots of Messi´s and Özil´s playing soccer, they even had a referee and hard core complaining about all decisions he made. =)

Okay for one night stay

If you're on your way to Muscat, it's a good place to stay. Breakfast is not included. And for dinner, don't eat there either, just go to one of the local restaurants where they serve great Indian food. And cheap too.

Al Wadi Hotel Sohar

We lacked any information to make a good decision where to stay in Sohar. This hotel was a mess. The service was terrible. They didn't seem use to serving patrons at their pool as we waited a long time to be served and then waited a long time for our food and bill. The room had large cracks in the floor time and the porcelain was coming off the tub. The building overall was in disrepair. A minor point, they had two bars but long pants were required. Sohar features no attractions of notoriety. There is a fort there but the country has dozens in other towns as well.
