"This is a very nice location on a beautiful beach within (or adjacent to) Olympic National Park. There are several options for rooms. I rented a small cabin with a bath and a queen bed and a sleeping loft for extra bed space. I did not realize at the time, but the cabin had a HALF BATH (sink and toilet) and NO HOT WATER. So read the room description carefully. I don't know if it was correctly described on the Expedia website.
The cabin was tight for a queen sized bed, with one side of the bed pushed up against a wall, and the lighting in the cabin was not brilliant, with no light above the dining table. But there was a small kitchen and dining area in addition to the bed. The queen bed came with sheets, but the twin beds in the loft did not. Cute and functional, but tight.
One nice surprise was the coffee shed on the hotel grounds. It was equipped with a killer espresso maker, and staffed with a barista who could make anything you wanted. So the coffee drinks were great, but the food was a bit sad. A frozen egg sandwich that needed some help.
Also, this was the second hotel on the Olympic peninsula that had no TV and poor Wi-Fi coverage. They are trying to cover the whole hotel from one Wi-Fi hot spot in the coffee barn, so almost no coverage at all in the rooms. And with no TV, everyone is relying on the Wi-Fi for a bit of entertainment. So not good,
We did find that the floors were very sandy when we arrived. Maybe that is hard to avoid with a beachfront location."
