Lovely short stay in this well located hotel. Our room looked newly refurbished with a kitchen area and balcony. The bed was large and comfortable. The only thing missing was a towel rail in the bathroom and a shelf to sit your toothbrush etc. On arrival you are faced with quite a number of steps which were not welcome with a heavy suitcase, however I am sure if we had gone inside and asked for help it would have been given as all staff were friendly and helpful. We would certainly be happy to return to this hotel.

Great stay in Malta

Overall very good! A really pleasant stay here. The only downside was not having a ramp for the suitcases- the steps were quite hard to use with them. But otherwise the rooms were spacious, and comfortable. Good value for money. I would recommend 😊

Fourth visit

We have stayed in the hotel 4 times now as we have family living close by. The welcome is always good and the hotel has never disappointed. There are great restaurants opposite and a friendly local pub.

The hotel was conveniently located with nearby restaurants and the bus stop right outside. It was a 20 minute walk to the Valletta ferry or you could take the bus. The bus is €2 regardless of how far you go! The hotel staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean and the rooftop pool had plenty of loungers. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen. Plenty of choice and always topped up during service. We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back!

Good hotel with unfriendly staff

Good location, great pool area, clean room with comfy beds. Breakfast ok but very noisy. Staff in reception and breakfast unfriendly and uncommitted. As a hotel guest you expect a kind and friendly reception but you won’t get that here. Bored pool bar staff handing out poor drinks. The whole staff except cleaning staff need training in service.

Hotel is really lovely for a 3 star. Definitely deserves another 1. Only issue was with the iron - there is a deposit which you do get back when you return it. But the iron board is already broken and collapsed 2 times while I was ironing my clothes , the iron leaked brown rusty water on my white t shirt. Other than this minor issue, the breakfast selection was great, hotel is very clean and the staff are lovely. The hotel is fantastic and I would stay here again if I was to return to Sliema. + great view from the room.
