Cheap and jolly

A nice budget hotel with friendly staff and basic rooms. The location is central enough but it can be difficult to find the hotel in the dark since it's situated in the middle of a maze of small streets with no apparent structure. Bad wifi connection like elsewhere in MK. Breakfast is served in the cafe next door for an additional fee of 4 EUR.

A couple days in Skopje

Was a okay place couple bars close to hotel but a bit of distant from the center for me was with in walking distant

The room was generally fine and clean enough. There were just two things bothering: The bed was very noisy and the bathroom equipment old, broken or low quality.

Trevliga och hjälpsamma

Det var sjätte gången jag var i Skopje och bodde på samma hotell så bara det säger en hel del. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Känner mig välkommen och hemma där. Nära till centrum men ändå ett lugnt område. Mycket att se i Skopje och i utkanten. Kan verkligen rekommendera Matka, naturskönt område med sjö och grottor som ligger 2 mil utanför staden.

Nice staff and clean. Lack some maintenance such as not all light bulbs in the room are working, old toilets, minor broken things. If you don't mind those things it is fine. Very good value for money.

Kultur- und Erholungsreise in der Hauptstadt von Mazedonien; Besuch wichtiger historischer Bauwerke, Denkmäler und Museen. Habe dafür günstiges Hotel in fußläufiger Entfernung zum Stadtzentrum benötigt. ANI ist von den Hotelangeboten in Skopje mit das günstigste Hotel, das relativ nahe am Stadtzentrum liegt und einen guten Service (zum günstigen Preis) bietet.

Prima hotel voor een paar dagen Skopje in een rustige wijk met toch wat eetgelegenheden. Het ontbijt stelde niet veel voor maar was goed. De kamers voor een paar nachten prima.

Det var tredje gången jag besökte Skopje och bodde på samma hotell. Personal och service var perfekt. Lugnt område och nära till centrum. Jag kommer att boka samma hotell nästa gång jag reser till Skopje. Kan varmt rekommendera det.

Missnöje på hotell Ani

Jag och min väninna var väldigt besvikna på hotell Ani. Frukosten var väldigt dålig. Det ingick endast 1 kopp kaffe. Vi fick betala extra av andra koppen. Det fanns varken duschdraperi eller duschvägg som gjorde att toaletten var helt blött efter att man hade duschat. Personalen, framförallt ägaren var väldigt otrevlig. Vi tog upp våran missnöje redan på andra dagen. Personalen sade att det står på hotellinfo hur frukosten är. Men det stämde absolut inte. Vi sade att vi ville byta hotell och varför. Det var OK enl killen som arbetade där " It is your choice " svarade han. Men det blev väldigt otrevlig stämning när vi tog upp bytet med ägaren på måndag. Han försökte genom hotelser och skridandet få oss betala för 3 nätter. Vi vägrade betala för 3 nätter. Vi var nästan de enda gäster där. Vi lyckades komma fram att vi betalar för 2 nätter. Han försökte få oss skriva vänligt i Trip advicer om hans hotell. Enl honom kan man inte få bättre frukost om man betalar så lite av hotellet. Men vi fick det på hotell Anja som ligger väldigt centralt. Personalen var väldigt vänlig där. Vi bodde på apartementos delen billigt, 35 euro/ natt för 2 personer ( billigare än Ani ). Vi kommer aldrig rekommendera någon att bo på hotell Ani. Men däremot rekommenderar vi varmt boka rum på Anja. Anja verkar vara i stort sett fullbokad hela tiden.

Prima hotel op uitstekende locatie

Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Geen luxe oid, maar gewoon een prima betaalbaar hotel op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. Bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam personeel. 'Basic' kamers en een 'basic' ontbijt. Grootste nadeel: het water in de douches is niet echt warm te krijgen. Hoogstens lauw.

Det var 2:a gången jag besökte Skopje och bodde på samma hotell. Läget och avståndet till centrum var perfekt gångavstånd. Även om det ligger ganska central var det ett lugnt område. Jag sov gott hela natten. Personalen är underbar och hjälpsam. Problem med varmvatten två kvällar annars har jag inget att klaga på. Kommer att boka samma hotell fler gånger.

Needs some work

The location is good, about 15 minutes walk from the main plaza. Breakfast is meager (bread, an egg, and croissant) and the room itself while being clean seemed to be in a state of disrepair. The light switches were broken and the bathroom was missing the shower doors so the water sprayed directly on the floor. On the positive side, the beds were fine and the staff were easy to work with. Just needs some renovations done to bring it back.

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Hotellet låg 100 m från centrumgatan men ändå lugnt område. Det som drar ner betyget är för höga kuddar och lite för kallt på rummet (i mitt tycke i alla fall) och så saknades duschdraperi. Om jag åker till Skopje fler gånger kommer jag med stor sannolikhet att boka samma hotell. Trivdes verkligen mycket bra.

Good hotel by Macedonian standards. Had to ask for towels to be changed. We were not informed by either the hotel or hotels.com that this hotel only accepts cash so we got a nasty surprise at 3am when we were checking out. As a result I had to find a cash machine while our taxi was waiting to take us to the airport.

Tastefully decorated, short walk to town center

The room was decorated with a pleasing aesthetic, it was not the usual neutral offering. The staff was helpful and informative, and carried our luggage upstairs. Our room had a nice urban view, with minimal street noise, that was not disturbing. The bed was comfortable. The staff had a reasonably priced taxi waiting for us for our very early flight, and helped us with our luggage again. The shower stall did not have a curtain, I suppose for reasons of cleanliness and hygiene. We managed our shower fairly well, despite our fears to the contrary.
