The hotel looks bad on the outside but is clean and tidy inside. It is a good value two or three star facility. The bed in the room was like being in the top bunk or in the attic but in reality was all i needed. The room and shared bathroom were clean and adequate. Great transport outside. Recomended!

The room was as expected bed ok private bathroom well appointed all at a reasonable price had to pay 80sgd to get in to room early but hayho no lift but what do you expect from a 2star hotel in singapore central

No elevator. Tough to get up and down with suitcases especially with an elderly and young kids. Staff was very accommodating. Ants were found in the units upon arrival. We made the best of it. Place is for backpackers not great for family with suitcases

Good central location very close to bugis mrt. Good air con. Shared bathrooms ok too. Clean. One thing let it down, our second nights stay we had a terrible nights sleep due to a very noisy group of teenage boys next door. The hotel staff tried to sort it out but were unsuccessful. As its a gaming hostel i dont really recommend it if you need a good nights sleep. Also be aware you have to leave a deposit here which you get back on checkout.

Solo traveller. Being older, the 22 steps to get to the lobby was a challenge especially with a suitcase. The high steps to get up to the loft bed was also a challenge. Everything else was fine. Despite noisy children at 1100 pm, once in the room, peaceful! Hag really good sleep thru out. Best for younger people. Common bathroom was well done but careless patrons leave the toilets a wet mess by use of the cleaning hose.

Thoughts on Arena Esports Hotel

The room was great, with adequate space up on the bed. A locker would be nice for important items. There were no adapters for the local plug, but if you ask the front desk they give you one readily. The common toilets were quite small (for me, a filipino) so they might be too small for larger people. Most of the locks were flimsy and one of them just straight up does not work (someone opened the door on me). The showers and the bathroom implements were great.

The location is very good and if you are a gamer, may this place is for you. However for a couple I would not recommended. The price outside of the application was cheaper than the book. I could not cancel my booking. The air conditioning was at my face, so no way to sleep with it. The clean aspect of a bathroom was not good. Overall for the paid amount the place needs to invest in whim

For the price this is OK.

Location is great with subway station across the street and food options nearby as well. Do not pay more for a room with a window, the windows do not seal good and the road noise is annoying. No breakfast or anything included. The bathrooms are not upkept well, some of the toilet rooms constantly had water all over the floor. If you ask, they will hold your luggage during the day in case you have a late flight but still want to go out and explore, very helpful service. DO NOT use the laundry machines. They promise you that the washing machine pumps automatic detergent in... it does not. It will also not do a good spin cycle, which means your clothes will be absolutely soaked in sweaty water. The dryer will not be able to dry unless you use twice the money. Staff will not help as they claim it is third party. Save yourself the hassle and disappointed and go elsewhere to do laundry. I did not use any of the computer systems so I cannot speak to that.

The bathroom was not clean, the toilet seat, floor, toilet paper holder, tiles and vanity were all covered with water and the toilet was stained. The room itself was functional and roomy. You should also know that there are two flights of stairs to get to the hotel which you have to haul your suitcases up to stay - there is no lift. Staff service was good.

The communal bathroom was terribly gross. Instead of soap, there was shampoo-conditioner to wash my hands. One of the bathrooms was leaking. The showers looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. You can’t say it’s a hotel and then offer sub-hostel amenities. My friend was sick with fever and chills, and the staff said I had to pay $$ for an extra blanket — absolutely not. Do not stay here! You will regret it.
