"This was a good hotel for me and my family. Location was good and they had a free shuttle back to the center of town and bus station. I really appreciated the washing machines and that the front desk staff spoke passable English. I really don't like the self check in machines the hotels use in Japan and this hotel was no exception. I can't speak to the breakfast since we left too early in the morning to enjoy it. Overall it was a good stay and very affordable, especially since I needed 4 rooms."
"We stayed here to go to Fuji Q for the day. The hotel room was huge. We had a family room with four beds and a mountain view. We saw Mt Fuji both mornings so that alone was worth staying out near Fuji. The dinner buffet was very expensive but good. The breakfast buffet had very very few Western options. Sadly the Onsen was closed. They offered us one 30 minutes away. But we didn’t want to go through that hassle. Overall the employees are nice and the room was our largest in Japan by far!"
"A wonderful stay, the property is beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in a traditional Japanese style onsen which was and interesting experience. The dinner was amazing and the facilities are excellent"
"I highly recommend Inn the Fuji for your trip. My sons said he still wants it for the next time if we will go to Mt Fuji, Fujiyoshida because the staff was super nice and helpful. Besides the room was big, clean, convenient, and quiet. I met its owner when I was walking to the Fujisan station also, he was very friendly."

"I stayed at Hotel Fuji Tatsugaoka for two nights in early 2026 as a base for visiting Fuji-Q Highland and exploring the Fuji Five Lakes area. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.
10 min. Walking distace from the park.
Room was clean, small but this is typical from japan so it was not a problem, onsen was nice and relaxing after walking all day.
Got a nice view to Mt. Fuji which luckily i had a clear view.
Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful check in and check out was quick and without trouble.
If i come back surely ill book again."
