"The family room with a double bed and bunk beds for the children was a good size. The hotel even provided a Z bed free of charge for our 6`2" son in case he could not fit into the bunk bed. The food, bar and location are all perfect. The staff were so accomodating as we had a dog with us. Very dog freindly throughout. Unfortunately, the room had no A/C and limited window opening. To be expected in an old building. So the night was hot and uncomfortable despite two fans provided. That`s nature. We liked the Hotel, meal and staff. "

"I stayed along with 3 friends for 4 nights and we all thought the hotel was beautiful from the outside and its setting right next to the river is fantastic. Parts of the hotel are a little tired and the unmodernised bedrooms need a facelift although theyre perfectly comfortable. Breakfast is good but the addition of fruit and yoghurts would give more variety for those who dont want the cooked option. All the staff are polite and friendly and I would recomment this hotel for a quiet, relaxing stay."

"Really lovely hotel and good value for money. The beds are really big and comfortable. Free toiletries in the room. Kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. The rooms were big. We had a ground floor superior room and it had a little terrace outside with patio doors and a chair and table. The grounds of the hotel are so lovely and beautiful. It is a 5 minute drive from Sheringham and was the perfect base for a Norfolk trip. "

"We needed somewhere to put our heads for the night and this location was perfect for us. Breakfast was decent enough and Asda right over the road to grab lunch and snacks for the day. Also a Maccas in the Asda if needed."

"We stayed at this hotel for one night in August, the room was lovely and comfortable and they were able to accommodate our 2 children on Z-Beds in the same room- this was very much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, lovely ladies serving the breakfast too. The swimming pool is such a lovely addition, heated to a nice temperature. We will definitely be coming back! "

"We were visiting friends in Cromer Pier Show and I wanted to book a last minute Hotel. The Holiday Inn was the closest (over 20 miles away) and available and the best rate. I didn’t realise breakfast was included, which was a nice surprise when the receptionist informed us at check in. We could have used the pool, but didn’t have time in the end. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. My son and I will be back next year, unless we camp in Cromer. I can recommend this Holiday Inn, convenient for the airport and has a cheeky McDonald’s situated behind it, if you feel like a late night snack! The breakfast was very good! I wasn’t sure about the barking dog in the conservatory, at breakfast time, I felt sorry for the staff member who had to converse with the owner, who was worse. We would recommend this holiday Inn for a budget stay, that’s a little more than budget, but worth it. "

"Just what you would expect from a seaside hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful we had a great evening meal, that we were not disappointed with. This was great as we really did fancy fish and chips sat beside the sea wall !! The room was well stocked with tea, water, biscuits and good to see plenty of the individual milk containers. The breakfast was up there with the best all freshly cooked and hot."
