Beautiful, Well-Managed Hotel with Solid Service A very good experience at the Sofitel Hongqiao. The staff were kind and made a noticeable effort to be helpful, which I valued. This positive atmosphere is a clear reflection of good management and training. The hotel's design is the real standout—the spaces are beautifully decorated, from the grand entrance to the rooms. The high-quality materials give a strong sense of luxury. My stay was enjoyable and the environment definitely elevated my business trip into a more relaxing experience.

The staff are very good, giving advice and communicating at a good level. The bedroom is big and comfortable, but cleaning is not much, maybe because the staff do not dare to touch the customers. There is a shuttle bus service to the airport, to the exhibition building, and help when I have a problem with losing my phone on the taxi and helping to coordinate very well. Full 10, I give 100. The only downside is that this area is very far from the subway, making travel not very convenient.

Very comfartable bad, and room! good location next to the train station. we arrived early morning, so we checked in around 9:00 am, and so they charged us for additonal half a day. Crew doesn't speak english so well. Thank you.

The restaurant is a disaster! no dinner served, at the bar we had to wait almost 2 hr for a Burger. The hotel is very good, breakfast is also good, but is amazing that there is no proper restaurant working in this hotel. Another point is that there is almost NO staff speaking English.

One of the receptionist made the payment not correct and not proactive to introduce restaurant, while others are friendly and proactively to introduce. When checking out, the receptionist is too busy and the hotel only arrange one more staff to help. The breakfast staff also made wrong order and didn’t have meal ready until we asked, however the restaurant dons out and cook noodles for us for free. Mix feeling of the service. The hardware is overall good.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Recent Stay at Sofitel Shanghai Hongqiao Dear Sofitel Shanghai Hongqiao Management Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience during my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the level of service and room maintenance fell far below the standards I have come to expect from the Sofitel brand. During my stay: • There was no safe provided in the room. • Tea cups were not replaced or cleaned daily. • Bedsheets were not changed, even after several days. • The staff attitude was unhelpful and unprofessional, and overall service quality was very poor. These issues made my stay quite uncomfortable and left a very negative impression. I chose Sofitel because of its reputation for high standards in hospitality and guest care, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these issues with your housekeeping and service teams. I would also appreciate an explanation and any gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response. Most of staff does not speak English. Since front desk to room service. Also the property is neglected. The building is beautiful, but the administration and maintenance is poor. I ordered room service and was awful. I chose that hotel because is close to the train station but it was a bad choice.

If i could i would attach picture's to justify my review. Ordered a beef burger when I arrived, inside was raw. Told the staff they said they can bring new i refused as it made me feel disgusted eating raw meat. Had food poisoning, went to the hospital the hotel staff did not care they said "sorry im just a worker" as quoted by the manager. No apology No care. This hotel is not 5 star worthy.
