"I had an apartment with a kitchenette for 1 week at the Esplanade. Since I didn't have a car, it was convenient--only about 3 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of blocks from the central pedestrian zone. The property itself was attractive with a pleasant breakfast area and a nice enclosed central courtyard. The staff was also quite friendly and attentive. The sauna was a very nice, unexpected benefit at the end of tiring days. An excellent option in central Dortmund!"

"I stayed here on two consecutive weekends as I was attending performances at the Opera House, for which the hotel is very well located. It is also am easy walk from the train station.
