My stay at coco ocean

The hotel and grounds were very pleasant, although it’s always uncomfortable sitting outside due to the preponderance of mosquitoes. The food was average and the service average - with the exception of room service which was bad. I found the waiters surly and what was eventually brought to you was almost always different from that ordered ! Overall a lot more must be done with service delivery. A very expensive hotel. Value for money- average.

The suite was on the whole very lovely. However, the kitchen was very shabby with no washing up tools made available. There was no hot water for showers from when we arrived to half way through our second day. When the hot water situation was rectified, the shower had to be run for about 5 minutes to come through.

Richtig nettes Personal. Richtig, richtig nett. Alles ist sauber, obwohl richtig in den Tropen, wo es schon mal so schütten kann, dass das halbe Haus wegschwimmt. Restaurants alle famos, wenn auch etwas überpreist. Rezeption hilfreich und unkompliziert. Gerne wieder.

not quite 5 stars but wonderful spa

Lovely resort but not five stars. Showerhead was broken, amenities are a bit dated. Beach was very dirty, maybe the tide came in , but lots of debris and trash on the beach. I would stay again, because of the spa! Wonderful experience.

Very comfortable stay in The Gambia

This was my second stay and I am happy to recommend it. Comfortable resort and retreat. Pleasant breakfast, nice grounds falling down to the beach, and a couple of good dinner options if you’re not up to going along to the nearby strip on Senegambia. The wifi is not perfect but perfectly serviceable. Very good service.

So much promise but not quite there

The positives about Coco ocean was that we stayed at one of the Royal penthouse suites and there was a lot of space for my fiancee and I, also the service was good, everyone friendly and the room was cleaned properly every day. The cons are that the hotel is a bit dated and could do with a refurbished, also for the price we paid I expected better quality. Also food is ok for meat lovers but not Vegans or Vegetarian. Still it was a decent experience and the grounds are lovely.

Friendly and pleasant staff. My room was airy, clean and spacious. Room cleaned without fail every morning.. fresh towels provided, bath robe and toiletries. Bed turned down in the evening. Only complaint the water was not hot I !had to shower in a different rooom! Breakfast was ok... not much of an option but still enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Witt the added bonus if the monkeys freely roaming around the courtyard. I dined out most of the time however the times I ate in the restaurant the food was well presented and tasted lovely. However over priced.. The gym was very disappointing... it wasn’t in use and make shift!.. pretty much a dump! A choice of two pools. The spa however was beautiful and tranquil. This is more of a couples hotel as there isn’t anything to do for the children. Overall enjoyed my stay .

Very pleasant with nice pool and beach area

The hotel is comfortable. The service is excellent. The atmosphere, beach and pool area, and facilities overall are very relaxed, casual, and enjoyable. The restaurants are good - not great, but more than adequate.

Un oasis perfecto

He disfrutado mucho de mi estancia en este hotel. El entorno es maravilloso, hay muchas plantas en el hotel y en los espacios libres, estaba rodeado por maravillosas palmeras, playa y mar. Hay muchos espacios para acomodarse al aire libre, al lado de la piscina, en el jardín... En el restaurante había música en vivo que me ha gustado mucho. La comida muy rica y variada. La habitación muy limpia y acogedora. El personal era muy agradable. Puedo recomendar este hotel vivamente.Lo único que podrían mejor es el wifi que es bastante regular, a veces va perfecto, a veces se va.

Paraiso con palmeras

Estoy disfrutando mucho de mi estancia en este hotel. Todo está muy limpio y bonito, el servicio perfecto. Lo que más disfruto es de los jardines. Me siento a escribir y leer en las mesas debajo las palmeras y contemplo el mar. Un sitio ideal para descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza, y esto en pleno invierno español!
