We saved so much by staying at the Ryu Guest House instead of a Marriot or Holiday Inn. It was like apartment studio living abroad in Sinsadong, Gangnam, Seoul, SK. Everything was walking distance to Metro, Food, Groceries (CU Market), Bars (Kompact Record Bar), Coffee Houses (Milestone) and Garosugil (Trendy Area). We felt very safe as well. Stayed 10 days in somewhere like suite. Private entrance and room with inside facilities of rice cooker, microwave, gas range, laundry washer and 2 door refrigerator. Seemingly a little bit small space for 2 adults but a decent place at decent price in Gangnam of Seoul if you stay longer than a week and use public transportation.

I stayed for a month and it was very enjoyable. The room felt comfortable and felt like a home. There was a lot of things available in the room that I did not expect, but very much enjoyed. We were given cups, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. My room was cleaned 3 days a week and the customer service was extremely great! Denny was very hospitable and helped whenever my daughter and I needed it.He made sure we were always good and even treated my daughter with a lot of care, She loves him and can’t wait to see him again if we visit. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely choose this place again when/If I come back.

The rooms in diffreant building And inside the room only small hand tower for the shower and no room clean for 7 days and as understand with the room information if you need clean pay 5000 won And if you need bed sheet change also 5000 won 4.3 usd . Good location, otherwise disappointing

I stayed 10 nights in an apartment in Ryu house village (separate building). The location is good, check-in was ok. But the room was not as clean as I expected. Moldy shower curtain, stains in doors and in kitchen, the refrigerator was located in balcony, which smelled like sour dairy products. The bathroom was a square meter by size, shower being just a shower head from the sink. Whenever showering, the whole bathroom was wet. Opening the window helped but also let the mosquitoes in. There was no daily clean up nor a safe to be used, despite the room description. The A/C was loud but luckily the room had one. There were quite a lot of construction work in nearby area to wake you up in the mornings. I left a long list of cleaning suggestions while checking out, hopefully those will be done. Also send some messages regarding check-out but received no answers. This was a disappointment for me.

The owner was very friendly and super helpful. He insisted on carrying my bags and explained everything in detail to me. My doggo and I loved our short stay there! I actually wish I stayed another night! Highly recommend if you need a nice place to stay with or without your doggo!

Ryu House is ideal place to stay if you plan to stay in Seoul for couple of weeks to do cosmetic procedures or surgery. It's in walking distance to JK and many other cosmetic facilities/hospitals. The owner Danny and his emplyees are very thoughtful, kind, responsive, and supportive.

I was lucky to share with caring people who know how to share dormitory except this mainland Chinese person who is selfish and no publicl manner And prople who are working there is very helpful and Danny also friendly Only no breakfast service anymore due to Corvid was very dissapointed.
